Waaaaaaiiiiitttting.

Waiting to hear back to see if I'm approved. Right now the tentative date for surgery is not until May. Dang it. Dang it all. I was hoping for March or April but will be thankful for anything at this point. I wonder how often there really are cancellations because apparently I can move it up if there is one. Anyone have any experience with this?

The waiting is the hardest part. And I am not kidding!

My insurance company was horrible to deal with but in the end it came through. I hate to tell you this, but consider this the "warm up phase" for the patience required as you lose the weight! It is very common for us to have the surgery and expect the pounds to peel off the next day or two. The whole process takes patience, patience, patience.

And I, for one, am not patient by nature!

That's a great way to look at it. I should be patient and I, too, am not patient by nature. I should be hearing if I am approved this week.
