Shivering Sunday Roll Call

Good morning everyone. The artic blast arrived and brought more snow to us last night. Not a lot but enough to cover the streets - the plow truck just went by.

So sad about Whitney Houston, isn't it. Amazing voice and talent.

Today we're meeting friends at Chickies & Petes in south Philly - it'll be nice to get out for some fun! Thursday we're heading to AC with our beach friends to celebrate her birthday - we'll be spending 2 nights down there. Since I didn't hit the big power ball last night maybe I'll have better luck at the casinos. Ha-ha I made a joke!!

Still working on rehabbing my shoulder. Have a set of exercises I do daily and tomorrow I start outpatient therapy 2 times a week. I have good range in my shoulder but no strength yet. That will come.

Good Morning Kathy and PA,
I am moving in slow motion this morning.  I have been up for a while, but barely functioning.

I did not venture out to church this morning because of the ice on the walkways.  I don't need to fall again, and reinjure my wounds.  I may go out later and lay salt down.  I will also try to get my car cleaned off, because I don't want it to freeze over.  I have appointments tomorrow, and don't want to be chipping ice off the car.

The rest of today will have me tidying and making baked macaroni and cheese.

good Morning Kathy & Trish and any who follow;

slept in this morning.  I was exhausted.  took some of the medication my doc perscribed for me when those bad pains start up, slept most of yesterday and the evening away.  Gene and Janvier got a lot of the dry wall hung in the new basement, we have another full working bathroom so we can now start the demo on the first floor bathroom.  House is still too cluttered for me and getting to me.  I just dont' want to do anything anymore.  Need to snap out of that....

Snow fizzled out early here in the city.  Everything that fell in the AM was gone by the PM, when I headed to bed it was snowing again but nothing to really talk about out there.

It is a shame what drugs do to folks.  What a waste of talent for such a gifted woman.

Good Afternoon Kathy and PA!

I am posting REALLY late today! I was up around 6:30 because of the furry alarm clock....he wanted to bed fed?!?! 

I got showered and dressed, took Dee to Hebrew school, then made a quick trip across the bridge to get gas(it is cheaper in NJ AND they pump it for you!!) Then came back home, did some things around the house. Hubby was nice enough to volunteer to pick up the child. He OWES ME BIG TIME!! I can't go into details, nothing bad, just kind of embarrassing for him. Nuff said! I ordered my V-Day gift online this morning. It will be a bit late but that is ok!!

I am so sad about Whitney Houston. She was one of my favorite singers/entertainers. She was SO beautiful and was SO talented. I grew up listening to her music, watching her music videos and her movies. I really feel for her family, especially her kids!

Anyway, just wanted to check in. Better get stuff ready for the week, this day will be done sooner than I think?!?!
