Hi There,
This Saturday, Special Olympics Pennsylvania is holding its annual Polar Plunge, at Neshaminy State Park in Bensalem.  I normally volunteer by handing out shirts to all of the participants after they register.  This year, I must stay home.

I am writing this to encourage everyone to help support one of our athletes as she is going to plunge into the Delaware River, along with hundreds of other crazy people.  If you would like to donate to Special Olympics Pennsylvania, and support an athlete as she raises money for this worthy cause, please click on the link, and type in Melissa Woerner's name.  Her team's goal is $1000.  Right now, they have $300.

Special Olympics relies solely on the generosity of people like you.  They receive absolutley no funding from any government.  All of the money stays in Pennsylvania, and is used to provide sports equipment, uniforms and transportation for the different competitions.

Thanks for your support.

Hugs,
Trish
