Just want to say thank you for all the prayers and well wishes for my brother, Barry - his appointment with the oncologist isn't until 4:00 this afternoon, so I won't hear anything until later tonight. My sister said he is in good spirits and says he'll fight it however he can, so that makes me feel better.
Unfortunately he found out that his insurance won't cover any chemo treatments or consultations with the oncologist!! He has insurance through AARP and it only covers the basics - annual exam, annual colonoscopy, etc. So if you're out there shopping for insurance on your own be sure to read the fine print!
Am praying as hard as I can, too - can't get him off my mind and my nerves are a tad frayed right now. but we're a strong, close family, and we'll all get through this together.
