Terrific Tuesday roll call

Hi all!

I'm at work.  Exciting day: had work to do this morning, and now nothing.  And I'm here till 5:00.  Ugh!  Walked to the other end of the building a while ago and am planning to walk it again before I go home.  I'm not sure how long the walk is.  I had a pedometer with me, but it didn't work.  (No surprise there---it works less than half the time.)

I'm tired today.  I think due to the time change, and also Paul was up with a headache during the night.  I don't mind helping him when he needs it, but he's very chatty when he gets awake.  Never knew he went to the other room last night so I could go back to sleep.  As I was getting dressed for work, he woke up with acid reflux.   I have to admit I'm feeling guilty for telling him to stop talking so I could go back to sleep.  I'm sure he'll be tired when I get home.

Need to get started on my taxes!  Being unemployed most of last year (11 months) and having big medical bills, I'm hoping to get a decent refund.  (Which will go into savings so I have something to fall back on if/when this job ends.)

Hi Everyone!  New to the website as of today and on my 8th day post op.  My Tuesday was long...still getting use to taking liquids but enjoying not working.  I have checked this site out but today I actually signed up!   Hope everyone enjoyed and made it thru their Tuesday!

Update:  My sis-in-law called and my niece and the kids are on a flight out of Tokyo as we speak.  She'll arrive in Detroit, then connect through to FL (where her mom lives) and will hopefully be home safe and sound by mid-day tomorrow.  We are all so very relieved.  Doesn't ease the ache for the many people who do not have somewhere to escape to, but at least she and her kids are hopefully safe.

What a relief, Karen.. so glad that they will be home safe and sound. 

Good evening everyone!  1 week from tomorrow I will be having surgery.  I am wondering what my hubby will spring on me tonight, as he has been springing his disapproval on me everyday.  I am completely exhausted from fighting, liquid diet and no carbs...Ready for surgery to be here!!
