First Fill

Can anyone describe the experience of their first lap band fill? I'd like to know if I'm normal ... well I know I'm nor normal but ... you know. LOL

Congrats on your lapband!  I haven't had a fill in a long, long time and it depends on your doctor.  Some will numb the port site a little - mine doesn't.  It is a huge needle... not going to lie about that but it is not painful at all.  Just a pinch and a little pressure and viola you have yourself a fill!  Good luck!

 I had the fill and I had no problem. I just felt a heavy feeling afterward. Wondered if that was normal. I didn't get sick. Just was uncomfortable.
