Happy Valentines Day Roll Call
Happy Valentines Day, Nicole and PA,
I struggle with this time of year, because my husband moved out on February 15th, ten years ago, and it was a tough thing for me to deal with. I tend to turn to food to numb the pain and loneliness, which is only magnified by the ads for flowers and jewelry.
Today, I am going to try to get to two AA meetings, because I am attempting to do 90 meetings in 90 days, and want to bank some meetings for when I am driving home from Florida with my son in two weeks.
I also must seriously clean my bedroom, because I learned that the Bristol Borough Inspectors will be in sometime in the not so distant future to do a Use and Occupancy Inspection. Yikes. I have too much stuff and it is all over my room. Time to purge. Plus, I must clean out my living room closet, because there are squirrels taking up residence in the attic, and the landlord needs to get to the trap door which is in my closet where I store my craft supplies. Another Yikes!
Today is the first day of Spring Training, so I am following all the sports reports because I will be there in less than two weeks. Woo Hoo. Go Phillies!!!!!

I hope we can all put a little love in our hearts today and overlook the trashy commercialism of the holiday...,just enjoy those that love you!
Trish, how about sending a valentine e-card to your munchkins? I know that those difficult anniversaries can be hard to get through and wish you strength.
I am off to Wilmington in a few minutes to the Veterinary Specialty Hospital there. Yeah. The dog ophthalmologist, for Holly's 2nd corneal abcess. Boxers are prone to these and they can get very infected and be very painful so there isn't much choice about what to do. Treatment doesn't work - it requires surgery which requires a specialist.I don't look forward to writing that check! We also got some "greetings" from the IRS that we underpaid last year or they recalculated or something so I have to figure that out too.
Other than that, work lies ahead for the day. I have a couple of challenging tasks this week which I hope to get done. Tomorrow is a day on the road in MD.
Trying to be more organized and focused in getting some things done that have been dragging along. NEED that feeling of accomplishment and closure....maybe the nice weather will light the fire under me, huh?

Today finds me at work and doing some exercise. The weather is gorgeous and its getting to be where I could do a run outside. ooohhhhh happy place. I signed up for a local 5mile run and may think about doing the Breast Cancer 5k in May. (will see what life brings me in the next month or so before I decide).

I am back to reality today. NOT PLEASED! I so wanted to stay in bed and relive the weekend I had! so much fun and full of love! But alas, here I sit, waiting for my amazing students to come in and regale me with all the woes of my being out for three days. I am sure there will be plenty of stories! With any luck, there will be some teaching going on around here! :)
After school, I am going to go home and TRY to not continue to ignore the things that I have been ignoring the last month or so - you know, like bills....oops! Oh - and we ordered a stove, it should be here on Friday! looking forward to my popcorn again! :) Tonight the girls have dance and then to bed. Larry is back to work tonight too - so looks like life might START to get back to some semblance of order....maybe! :)

Yesterday Dennis & I spent the day together we went to te gym worked out then I took him to his his first adventure in Trader Joe's. Then we had dinner with a friends family then from there we went to Shoprite finished our shopping. We came home put everything away I cleaned up the dining room table then we curled up to watch tv and veg.
Today we are going to celebrate Valentine's Day at home with Dennis cooking me a elegant dinner. Just quiet time at home the two of us. This is the first year we are home for Valentine's the last two we were away. Looking forward to just being with him and quiet time.
The weekend was great and love my life.
Happy Valentine's Day to those of you who are in love. I hate this Hallmark holiday because I have never had a valentine. Even when I was married, I did not have one. My ex-husband didn't do holidays and didn't treat me like his valentine at any point during the year to make up for it.
Anyway, I am grateful to have my friends today and every day.
Today, I am trying to detox from many weeks of carb overload.. liquid diet throughout the day and a good dinner.. I feel very out of control and need to get it back NOW.

What a wonderful weekend it was! Celebrating with the Belitsky's then continuing the celebrating at Maura's was AWESOME!!! Got to spend time with some really great friends. STILL tired from the weekend!
Today is wor****il 3:30....Came in this morning and it was a HOT BOX!! They must have turned up the heat! Thank goodness I layered today! Then I had to spend some time covering in a sixth grade class, NOT FUN!! I hope the box of GS Thin Mints that I had in my room aren't melted.....After work I am going to see my parents at the home. I haven't seen them in awhile so I feel it is time. I will probably stop off and get some V-Day cards and candy for them. Then home to celebrate V-Day with hubby and Dee. Going out to dinner, then home for the night.
