I will be 1 year old in 12 hours! A few words about the past year and some pics
You know how there are some people you just click with and think - wow - I really feel I have known this person for my whole life? - well, that is you! I can't imagine that we have only known each other for less than a year. I find it hard to believe that you are only a year old and that I am 9 months older than you. You were soooo ready to begin this journey and have been so successful. And, by successful, I don't necessarily mean the weight, I mean with your head and your heart! You know what you are doing, you accept your imperfections and you are willing to continue to learn. As I continue to learn from those older than me, I too learn from those younger. I appreciate your honesty, your sincerity and mostly your silly faces - (Makes mine a little less nuts! 
)

HAPPY SURGIVERSARY!!!!!!
You beat me to the punch! I was going to post a Happy Surgiversary shout out, but that is ok because today is YOUR day!!
Over the past year you have made a total transformation! There are so many things about you that shine! Your personality, your smile and your eyes show the true YOU! Yes, losing the weight has brought that out, but you are such a wonderful, loving, funny person! I have really gotten to know you and Mark and LOVE spending time with you and the kitties (even the grumpy one! LOL!) BTW, you are so lucky to have Mark in your life! He is a GREAT guy, I think you should keep him!
I am so glad that we have met and become such good friends! A definite plus to going through this journey!! I am looking forward to many more successes for both of us in the future!

Congratulations. You have come a long way and have done alot of work. I am so glad I have gotten to know you better, I just love ya to bits. I want to thank you for all the support and love that you have given to me and Jason in particular. My only regret is that we live so far apart but I will take it, because you are a beautiful, funny and loving smart woman and you deserve all you are getting

Your post is a wonderful one. The replies from our friends are wonderful too. These new friends, people who you might not have known more than a year ago but have found such synergy with you and Mark, and they will remain part of your lives for years to come.
Did you know that, "People Just LOVE You" ? I've heard those words about you more than a few times.
There are so many benefits when we choose to start this WLS journey for ourselves. Great changes in health, a new knowledge of our physical and psychological self, and a renewed outlook for our futures' , but the support and friendships we find are so a key ingredient. That is what this board is about.
I applaud it.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I hate those BMI charts too...I keep trying, but can't seem to get to "normal" yet. BMI chart or not...this summer you looked fantastic, and you have lost more since then...so you must be super-fantastic now.
