NSVs this week!
It's interesting....over time I honestly think that some people have "forgotten" how heavy I once was. Others that I meet at work didn't know me in those days. And the fuss over losing quiets down....
But this week I've had a few NSV's that were BIGGIES to me!
On Sunday, I wore a skirt and sweater to church. The sweater hung a little too loose around the belly, so just for fun I put a belt on. I'd gotten the belt last summer, for my birthday, but never wore it. On Sunday, I wore it for all to see. A BELT.
Then (still Sunday) I added my early Christmas present to the outfit - a pair of boots. Knee high boots that zip. And....they zipped!
Finally, yesterday I was visiting a school in MD. Often times on these visits, someone will give me a t shirt or pen with the school mascot on it. And of course, over the years those have been mostly in XL or XXL. But yesterday, the principal came in with the shirt and told me "We have both small and medium, so just choose the size you'd like." I am still stunned by this one - that my first impression would be that I am "small" or "medium" size!!!
