Congratulations on your 3rd Surgiversary. . .

WOW is all I can muster when I read your post, so thoughtfully and truthfully written.

I wish you many, many years of successing and living this life, as the truth is, the work never ends.  At 55 and with 23 years of sobriety and 3 yrs post-op behind me, the one constant is change.  Your can realize you bigger dreams and bigger does not have to be a dirty word!

Hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Pam,
I have always felt this kinship with you as our WLS journey is so similar as far as the starting weight and losing all the weight and then the 15-20lbs regain. I am lucky that I was able to get back down to my goal weight but only because I got sick so I did not lose the rebound weight in a good way. I have said this before and I will say it again you are truly inspirational and have such wealth of knowledge to share with use old timers and newbies alike. Keep on successing my friend.... Oh and Congratulations on 3 years of successing!!

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!
