I know... I know... I've been MIA

Hey everyone,

I know I've been MIA on these boards for a while... and I'm not even really sure why.   Life kind of just takes over I suppose?     (HEY!  I'm a busy girl you know! )  LOL  I've kept in touch with most of you, but to the newer people, I apologize for my absence.
So, what's going on in everyone's lives?   Norm and I are still kicking..   and he's alive still LOL I haven't killed him yet ;)  It's been a tough year, and I know it's not over yet, but we're plugging along.
I've gained a little weight back, but not much.  Nothing that a little kick in the behind and more planned meals won't fix.  (NO more carbs for me starting next week!)  That's the beauty of this surgery...  it never ever expires...

So... catch me up PA...  what's going on?!   I've missed you!

<3 always,
me.

Hey stranger - great to see your smiling face again. Guess keeping Norm in line is a full time job?!

Lots of newbies on here and they're great but we sure miss the wit and wisdom of some of you veterans - you, Pam, Eileen and Heather G just to name a few. Norm pops in from time to time to keep us on our toes!

Glad to hear things are well - check in from time to time!!

Mary.
I have missed you. I was just in the hospital for about 12 days for a UTI that spread to my kidneys so I was admitted for renal failure. It was the biggest shock and the kick in my arse I needed to put myself first. I had gained 15lbs but lost it all when I got sick. I say everyone is entitled to have those 10-15lbs of extra padding just sayin' never know when one can get sick and lose it the unnatural way. Good to see you posting again. Take care of yourself and Norm and don't be such a stranger.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Hi Mary!

I am busy stressing over wedding shoes and stressing over everything else. ha ha ha!

(PS, thanks for the shoe tip!)

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Life post-WLS can be grand. . .  if when it's not so grand. . .  glad to see you and Norm.   I am not here as often as I once was either, but I am trying to be more present. . .

Hugs, Laureen
