Home from the hospital..
Yeah I am home from the hospital finally. But am busy making a million calls as I changed my primary care doctor to another doctor who is closer to me and the hospital that they admitted to me. I called my primary today as I need to get a referal to see my hematologist tomorrow and and infectious disease doctor next week and they put me on hold for 20 minutes. This is the reason they are no longer my primary care doctor. The staff sucks. I have been going to them since I was 13 years old the whole staff knows me but because they are always so busy they come off as being rude and not being helpful. I am sorry you need more staffing or need to put patients first. WHATEVER. Anyway I am trying to keep my spirits up as this hospital stay has totally done a number on my physically and mentally. A big thank you to every single person who said prayers for me and my family.
Happy, happy, so happy to read your post . . .

Cyd,
They never did figure out what was wrong with me. I was admitted to the hospital because I had a UTI that went untreated for such a long time that it lead to kidney infection which lead to blood infections with E-coli in it. Anyway they still do not know why I am spiking 101 to 102 fever during the night. I came home basically because I was at a greater risk of acquiring hospital based infections. 12 days in hospital still no answers. I see a hematologist tomorrow for the procrit injections but the neupogin for WBC has been discontinued since my WBC are looking good. Good news I am at my weight loss goal lost 10lbs in 12 days. Not the best way of losing weight but I still have no appetite

If we look for it there is always a silver lining, right?? Congrats on the Goal Weight!!! I am sure the hematologist will find the underlying reason for the fevers and appetite loss; there's an infection somewhere, just gotta find it. Will still keep you in prayer that that happens fast.
