TGIF Roll Call
Good Morning Everyone!
I can't believe I get to start the roll call. I guess that is what happens when you cannot sleep in a hospital bed. Today has me getting a scope of my heart hoping and praying for answers to why I am spiking unknown fevers. Please continue to pray for me and the family. So what is everyone else up to today?

Hi Shilpa - sending healing thoughts and vibes to you at this VERY difficult time!
I am having a morning already! The girls had me up WAY before my alarm clock went off and I was NOT able to go back to sleep - and they wake up all sweet and adorable and loving and then REALITY....they fight and argue and are so freaking loud I just want to send them back to where they came from.....It is no wonder I prefer the "quiet" of 36-14 year olds during the day! Heading into school and then the start of a GREAT three day weekend! Heading to get my hair done tonight, then off to play Mah jongg and watch the Phillies game, only becuase I CAN'T get into the city as I was hoping to do - tomorow SHOULD be a fun day filled with a Target run and then an all afternoon get together with some friends and NONE of my children! (their two youngest will be around but they are NOT my responsibility so - it is all good!)
I am hoping the rest of my day is calm and relaxing - unlike my morning is turning out to be - they are still going at it....maybe they will start to hit each other and knock each other out...a mom can hope right?!?!
Have a GREAT Friday! :)

Shilpa,
Although I haven't been around much lately... I have been keeping up on your progress and you have been in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully with the testing today they will be able to determine what is making you spike fevers and you will be able to go home to your family soon.
As for me today. I am up and dressed and getting ready to head out for an appointment with my therapist this morning. Lemme tell you, going to her has been the best thing in the world. She is really helping me work through some of my issues and letting me start to get a handle on who I really am. After that I'm trying to decide if I want to do my morning walk or go to breakfast. then barring that decision it's my 1 year follow-up with my surgeon (actually 13 months, but who's counting...:P).
That's pretty much it for me today. I definitely need to get my walk in today sometime. I have a goal. The hubby decided that we are going to Hawaii in January for the honeymoon we never got and when we go I'm bound and determined to hike Diamond Head,,, should be interesting.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and for those that are struggling and dealing with issues medical or otherwise my thoughts are with you.
Kris.

Morning Shilpa.. so sorry you are still there with no answers. Hope they find something out soon.
Today has me working for a change..
Tonight I am babysitting for my friend Carla so she and her husband can go out and celebrate their anniversary. She has a 3 year old boy and a 6 year old boy who will be home. Should be loads of fun.. I'll be sure to bring my Tylenol with me.. and some rope or duct tape, just in case I need to strap them down.. LOL
That's about it. I am glad it's Friday, but I may end up working a few hours tomorrow. I need to rack up some more OT since I am headed to Houston in a few weeks.

Dear Shilpa, and PA,
Oh Shilpa, I am so sorry the docs cannot find the answers to your issues. I am praying for the docs to have wisdom, and for your roommates to be on tons of sedatives and sleep a lot.
Today I am heading to the AA meeting I did not get to yesterday. Yes, I did not get to my meeting. Kick me.
I did get my heat repaired and no longer froze like I used to.
Later, I am heading to help my sister with some baskets for a dinner bingo on Tuesday.
Then, tonight, I am watching the Phillies game.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Shilpa - we know you were hoping to be home before today. I'm hopeful you'll get some answers today and they won't be anything daunting.
Today's going to be BUSY!!! There's only a half day of school for my 4. They'll be home around noonish...read-naptime. THAT'S going to be interesting. Then tonight is our homecoming game. Sierra's cheering tonight. It's great weather for football too. 60 degrees and no rain.
Tomorrow we run to the 2nd closest mall to find some shoes for Sierra to wear to the dance tomorrow night. That's how I roll...last minute for EVERYTHING!
I posted on the exercise post last night, but, I'd like to share here. I went RUNNING!!!!! and I didn't get hurt or nuthin! I'm known for rolling ankles and ending up in the ER. Falling down for any number of reasons, etc. Well, the only side effects of running this time are sore knees and hip joints. But, I RAN!!! I've always wanted to be a runner. They're usually so lean and trim. and it's faster than walking. I'm very impatient when it comes to exercise.
That's it. Everyone have a great weekend!!
Oh, and I posted a new picture or 2 last night if anyone wants to check me out. Ten months out from surgery tomorrow. Wanted to see what I looked like.
