Hey there Trish....a NO HITTER.....what a FUN game to watch!  I LOVE to hear the crowd with each strike that was pitched..sooooo stinkin fun!

Today has me headed into school for a fun filled day of assemblies and testing....ahhhh.....I sometimes forget how to teach things.....anyway after school I am coming home to pick up akid or three to go with me tot he market - I like it MUCH better hwen they are with me - they can run around and get teh things on the list that I forgot....(yup - THAT is why I had children.)  Home for dinner and then to Emily's school for "Meet the Teacher" night - I was informed by my precocious 8 year old that I can NOT call it "Back to School" night becuase it is NOT what her teacher calls it....isn't she SUCH a joy??!!?!?!

Hope you all have a Terrific Thursday!

Good MOrning All

One of my co-workers was at the game last night so I know I am going to be hearing all about it all day. I am glad they won but can't stand this guy's stories.

I am at wor****il 4 then headed home to spend time with my Grandmother and Amelia. Nothing exciting but I love it. Can't wait to snuggle my little smunchy :)

Good morning all - man, it would be great if all the baseball games started at 5:00 - that way I could stay up for them! I actually ended up watching a lot of the game by myself because hubby had a clubhouse meeting at 7:00 - he was NOT a happy camper! But they did turn the TV on at the clubhouse so they watched the final out(s) of the game.

I slept better last night and got up and worked out this morning - started PT for my arm yesterday - mostly just an evaluation and then the therapist did some stretching on it, then iced it down. I have a list of exercises to do at home in the evenings, and go back tomorrow morning for another session.

Not much on my agenda today - work, home tonight - should be quiet.

Oh, stinking kitchen fridge/freezer is on the fritz so I had to put a service call in on that this morning - about a month ago the dishwasher had a meltdown, too - I'm not a happy girl - all of my appliances are less than 5 years old and made by the company I work for! And this is the 2nd time I've had to have service out on the fridge in 5 years - so they're coming out Monday to check it out - nothing is freezing - thank god we have the extra fridge downstairs so we could move all the meat and frozen foods down there.

Steffi- I had Deanna for the same reason-get me this, get me that...LOL!!!

Today, wor****il 3:45 due to faculty meeting! Work is becoming a real pain in the ass!! I love when I am teaching the kids, but the other crap is really getting on my nerves! Don't do this, don't do that! Don't come in to the office during this time and that.....SICK OF IT!!!

After work I am going to Fashion Bug to pick up my NEW winter coat!! I have fashion cash AND a gift card that I got for my birthday so I should make out pretty well. I also got a coupon for a free scarf, so I will pick that up along with a belt! My skinny jeans are TOO big in the waist, fit everywhere else but my waist. Go figure. Then home to make dinner, do homework and reading with Dee. Then relaxation, maybe....YEAH  RIGHT!!

Good morning, all!!

Trish----Glad the scale is moving again!!!    Now get your butt to your meeting!!

Just as I was starting my post, the strangest thing happened.  Heard a noise and thought someone was at the door.  I looked over at Paul---and a squirrel suddenly appeared behind him on the window!  It climbed up the screen!  I've never seen that before!!  It looked down at Paul, which was kind of funny.  Got the cat up and moving!

I need to do some laundry today.  We'll also run some errands, then pick Anson up from school for visitation.  He doesn't have school tomorrow, so he's with us till he has to be at school for the football game.  (He's in marching band.)

Have a great day, my friends!  Peace and strength to all!!!

Good afternoon Trish & PA,

The Phillies game was awesome.  Didn't see any of it but listened on my radio.  Last night, after work, I had completely forgot that I promised Cherish I would check on her cats while she's in Florida.   I was driving on City Ave and WOO HOOing very loudly in my car.  Thankfully is was dark.  I'm sure the people at the light around me probably that I was some wacko!

Anyway, I'm at work till 5 then home to drag my husband to the gym with me.  He complained on Tuesday too when I told him he didn't have a choice but to go with me!   After the gym nothing planned but dinner and chillaxin'!

Hope everyone is having a good day.  This sun is shining.  It's lovely outside.

Good Afternoon Trish & PA:

Trish congratulations on the scale moving.  Hope you got your butt to that AA meeting...

I had a half day of work today, have GI doc appt this afternoon.  Another follow up from my hospital stay.  Hopefully my blood work is in better shape than it was on the letter I received from my surgeon's office.  I'm now on two months of mega doses of vitamin D.  One pill a week for 8 weeks.  Can't figure out how it can be sooooo low.  I take a D suppliment everyday.  We'll see what these mega doses of Vit D do for me.  Hopefully they have started raising it, if not we'll see what surgeon has to say at my 1 yrs check up in a couple weeks.

AFter the GI doc I think I'm heading up to Second Avenue to see if I can find some more jeans.  I have one pair that now fit me.  Everyone in work had started telling me I NEED to buy smaller clothes.  I'd prefer to wait a bit longer to see where my body decides to settle but found a really cute pair of jeans for a couple bucks so picked them up.  If I can find a few more really cheap jeans & pants I might get a few more tonight.

I have also been freezing.  Hider is loving the electric blankets I have in the family room and on the bed - Gene is not enjoying as much as her.  He told me to keep my electric blanket that is cranked up to 10  off his side of the bed  so to solve that we went out to purchase a single bed electric blanket so that it stays on my side of the bed and he can stay cool - I love when we come up with these solutions by putting our heads together....

Off to the doc's office - hope everyone has an awesome rest of the day....
