post this on the main board too. There are a couple members that can do wonders with this.
Me - not so much. But, I had mine done yesterday too. Turns out, that I was taking Atenolol for erratic heart rhythms. It also lowers blood pressure. My bp yesterday was 96/62. The nurse asked me if it's usually low and it usually is. He also asked if I'm tired a lot or if I were dizzy when I stand up from sitting. TOTALLY!!!!! I usually take about 5-10 seconds to get my bearings. Thought it was a blood sugar issue. NOPE. Turns out it's time to stop taking the Atenolol. My bp will go up, but it's never been high. He didn't want to trade one symptom to another. AND I'll start having more energy. CAN'T WAIT!

Wow, I am experiencing the same thing. I also take atenolol for PVC's and prior to surgery it also helped keep my blood pressure down. I went in for my 8 week appointment with my surgeon last week and the nurse told me my blood pressure was 98/60 and my beats per minute was 60. She said to contact my pcp to see if he wanted to do anything. I am also experiencing light headedness whenever i get up too quick or when i squat down and then stand back up. The only thing that confuses me is that I got my bllod pressure taken at work and it was 120/78, and I had taken my atenolol that morning as well. I guess I will have to keep an eye on it.

Pounds to go=12!!! Pounds Lost =148
Sometimes - however, rarely - my top number would be over 100, early on in my weight loss it would go up to 120...but, for the last few months, any time I check it or the doctors do, it's not been over 100. My beats per minute were also 60. I'm anxious to see what this does for my bp now that I'm off it. My lower number just kept getting lower and lower. Once the nurse asked me if I was dead. I was only taking 12.5mg the whole time I've taken it. So, there was nothing lower to go to so he said to just stop.
Same thing, squatting down too long, bending over to tie kids shoes, looking in the lower cupboards - always led to a dizzy spell.
I don't know if it's mental or if it's already working, but, I feel full of energy so far this morning and I NEVER have energy in the morning. Maybe it's already turning around!
