Plastic Surgery
quick question...My BFF had RNY in February 2009...she has done amazingly well and even landed a photo shoot for a local magazine. She is a huge advocate of WLS and continues to reap the benefts of her decision (she went RNY...I went the Lapband route) Both of us are satisfied with oue decisions and are quite pleased with the individual results. I am fortunate in that I do not have too much excess skin....however my friend truly wants to have plastic surgery but can not afford it and her insurance will not pay for it.
I had recently heard about one of the Burn Centers at a hospital in or around Philly that removes excess skin and donates it for skin grafting purposes. Eveidently there is no cost to the skin donor.
Does anyone know what hospital this may be...and any contact information would be great...Thanks for your time!

our skin after WLS is not like everyone elses skin, we do not have good elasticity cause most of our skin was out stretched and we r lacking nutrients
cause I had asked about this? also and was told no one wants our skin.
if your friend has good credit she can get CARE CREDIT, that is a cc that most PS accept & they have 18 months no intrest
good luck to your friend
