Fabulous Friday Roll Call
The rain last night was incredible! I got up at 2 and again at 4 to make sure the basement wasn't flooded... kept having dreams about rivers and waterfalls in between (wonder why?). Went to bed HOT and woke up freezing! So was not the most restful night's sleep.
I'm at work today as usual. Have a training session scheduled from 3 - 5PM (NOT pleased about that one!). Then home. Katie's coming home from college for the weekend - she's planning to be home around 7-7:30 tonight so we'll have a late dinner. Then support group tomorrow (yay), followed by more Katie hanging-out. We're Skyping with my neice in Japan tomorrow night around 7 (that's Sunday morning there) - we haven't seen her or her kids in several months, so this will be a nice treat!

I think I slept through all the rain but it is Friday and I am here at work. Part of me wants to leave early but will stick it out. Tonight I think we may shoot up to see Shilpa then home to relax in our own home for the night.
Last night I went to Parx 360 for a Zumba class and salsa lesson which was pretty fun with Karen, Arlene and Kimmie. I got home a little late cause I opted to make a donation at the casino.
Tomorrow morning we will go to Barix for the support meeting then we are heading right to Atlantic CIty for the evening and have a room since we are going to see the Soul Cruisers debut at Harrah's. Once we are home on Sunday we will be going to my cousins for the Sunday Backdoor Football Club for his birthday and the Eagles game.
I really think I need to take a time out from the world the next few weeks. Little things are bothering me and I need to just let things go at times but I take everything to heart. I am starting to doubt who I really am these days.

Hi Jo, PA folks. . .
I have not been here much of late, mostly due to the fact that work has been CRAZY BUSY, last week from Monday to Thursday, I had a total of 12 hours sleep, went home Thr night and fell asleep talking on the phone to someone at 7:30, woke at 6:15 Friday, this week has been a bit better, but the days are flying by because of all the stuff. That is the world of corporate bankruptcy filings. . .
Well today has me really excited because my youngest daughter called me Tuesday night to ask what my plans this weekend included, so I told her 1st Saturday Barix meeting until 1:30 and then Vaughn's (my grandson) birthday party, otherwise the usual things one has to do when they work Monday to Friday. . . so she says, would you like some company? HELL YEAH!!! So tonight I pick her up at the airport, she is going to surpise my son and grandson tomorrow when she walks into the party with me. So lots of good stuff to look forward to. . .
On the debit side of life, this morning I woke to a crapped out fridge (only 3-1/2 years old), 2nd time this has happened, freezer works, but fridge is not staying cold, not spending another $200 to fix it, last time it went right after the initial warrantee, Fridgedaire/Electrolux is now on my do not buy list, so I need to buy a new fridge this weekend, luckily my old one is in the basement (which when I went to put stuff down there, I found it was kind of wet, just in the usual places, but puddles, thank goodness for sump pumps) and works, just a bit small for my household, which is why I purchased the new one 3-1/2 years ago, I will check out the scratch and dent department. . . otherwise all is good, I am losing weight again and that feels good.
Well that's it for me, I need to catch up with all of you, though I need to do some other stuff here at work, so maybe later, either way, I hope to see a good many of you tomorrow at Barix and to the rest, have a wonderful weekend, it is going to be very fall like, enjoy!
