Protein Powder Shelf Life??

Does anyone know the shelf life of Matrix protein powders? I need to start getting back into the habit of having at least one shake a day and I always liked the Matrix powders, but I'm pretty sure the stuff is have is at least 2 years old. Do you think it is still effective? I have it stored in ziploc bags so I don't have the original containers anymore.

Kathy, I have some Matrix at home that I bought around the same time and I know it hasn't expired yet. I will check the container tonight and let you know for sure.

I just checked -- I bought it in the early part of 2008 (around April) and it's good through June 2011, so you should be good to go!

Wonderful - thanks!! I meant to bring some of the chocolate in to make my mocha-coffees for my mid morning snack - thought that would be better than using the sf Swiss Miss I've been using and probaby taste about the same. Have to make a mental note to bring it tomorrow.
