Today we are just hanging at home, Chris is doing yard work and I am just hanging out inside with Amelia. My Mom and Cousin might stop later on their way home from my Grandfather's. I am also working on planning our first annual WLS picnic! See my other post for details, hopefully a bunch of you can join us!
My BFF came up from Maryland yesterday and we had a wonderful day of retail therapy! Started out at Marshalls/HomeGoods and got lots of new fall/winter clothes there - then went to Old Navy and cleaned up - they were having a huge sale - I got tops for less than $2!! Then on to the Christmas Tree Shoppe for some fun fall stuff to put out. Home to eat - we were starved - I had made a huge crockpot of chili and corn muffins so we chowed down on there, relaxed and had a couple glasses of wine, and crashed around 10:30 - definitely not the party-goers everyone else was, but it was a fun day.
She just left to head home - I got all my new clothes out to try on (fingers crossed everything fits) - enough chili leftover to feed everyone today - have to make a quick trip to the grocery store for a few things, and then I'll be vegging the rest of the day - busted butt yesterday morning cleaning and doing laundry so now I can relax.
Hope you guys with hangovers are feeling better soon!

Good Afternoon Lynn & PA:
Up late today. Did not make it to church. Gene and I hung out and talked, and talked, and talked. I love those mornings/afternoons where we find the time to do just that. Just had breakfast, now to get a shower and head over to whole foods.
Yesterday we spent an awesome day with Bri & Brian. My oldest daugther's birthday is this coming Wed, so she wanted to go to the Phila. Zoo for her birthday. Seems as if the zoo does not have as many animals as I once remember them having. A great day just walking around. Bri and I were much more excited about this trip than Gene & Brian. Love the animals and watching their antics. After the zoo we took the kids to Gallo's for dinner - yummy seafood - they have just about the best seafood I've ever eaten in a resturant!!!!!
For the remainder of today, as mentioned I have food shopping, then need to get some wash taken care of.
Hope everyone has an awesome day.....

Had a great time last night at dinner with what turned out to be a really big crew of great and beautiful people. There truly is nothing better for your self esteem than to get dressed up and feel pretty for a night.
Not much else to say for today - am a bit tired and am doing laundry, packing and cleaning the house so that we don't come home to a mess.
Have I mentioned that I am so excited about our vacation..
that's all I have to report..
xoxo PA,

Ok, so, other than that for my day. It's been pretty mundane. Kicked a soccer ball for Alexis to practice being a goalie. Made Turkey Italian sausage with peppers and onions for dinner. Now I'm going to take a shower and chill-ax for the night.
