Is turning into a Smurf a problem?

I am actually turning blue!  My flabby part of my arms that is (more grayish then blue - but I liked the sound of the Smurf thing!).  I originally noticed it a few days ago when I was wearing a new black and white tank type shirt - thought it was because the color was rubbing off, no worries - one wash would take care of that.  Then it happened again and thought it was the purple and white tank shirt I was wearing - which was weird because that shirt had been washed a few times.  Then yesterday, my kids noticed it and I was wearing WHITE!  So Larry looked at it and it is the same on both arms.  He is thinking it is some sort of circulation issue or something.  I will talk with the surgeon when I go on Friday if he knows anything.

Has this happened to anyone else?  Could it be a circulation thing?  Is blood pooling as I use my arms A LOT teaching?  Weird - maybe I will have to get my arms done next?!?!  (Really didn't hate them, so wasn't going to worry about it.....)

Hugs... and I would totally talk to a doc about that... that doesn't sound normal... and we know you are far from normal... but don't think your arms should be changing colors like that...

It sounds like circulation to me as well.

I love Smurfs but don't want you to turn into one.....I wold have it checked out by the doctor to make sure it is nothing serious.

Definitely talk to the doc, and if it gets at all painful, hot, swollen or red in the meantime, don't delay until Friday in calling the doc...

Look at it this way Steffi....if one of your children turned blue for any reason, would you talk to a doctor? Yep, it's the right thing to do.

Not a Smurf fan, particularly, but you would make a cute one!
