I am just gonna list everything on my lab sheet because I need help with what everything stands for and if my levels are good- my family Dr just says everything looks good,, but I want to be certain!!  Also I am trying to increase my protein and liquid amounts, I am just feeling very fatigued and tired, also thought that could be my iron levels?

I would appreciate any advice/ suggestions because like I said I do not know what any of these mean, etc.  Thanks!

Here is what I am taking daily:
- 2 centrum multi-vitamins
- sublingual B-12 2500MCG (4-5 times a week) - was told by dr to increase to 4-5 times a week because of levels
-  Upcal D powdered calcium- 1000 mg

I was told to take the B12 everyday until my levels get higher and also to take an iron supplement (slow fe?) and vitamin D, does anyone know how much vitamin D to take each day?

I don't know about most of your levels, but I think your B12 is low. My surgeon says we should be at least 400. I take a 1000mg sublingual B12 daily, and my level is usually 900-1200. Have you checked with your surgeon about your levels?

yes I was told by others that it is dangerously low, so I am taking 2500 mcg daily now and will see if that brings it up on my next labs.  The NUT did not seem too concerned with that amount though, she said it is low but not dangerous??  hmm....  good thing is that you can't take too much B12 you just pee it out, vitamin D however can be toxic if taking too much so that is where I am concerned about how much to take.

Sorry I can't help you with the D.  As for B12, I'm not sure what's considered dangerously low; I only know that it's one of the levels that we need to have higher than non-wls folks.  I agree with increasing the amount you've been taking.

That B12 is pretty low, keep taking the sublingual B12, I take 5000mcg a day because  mine is a constant battle. My surgeon wants me at least at 600 but I haven't ever gotten there. 200 or below is considered "dangerous" from what I remember, that's when nerve damage can begin.

I am not sure about the vit D though, I would just take what the bottle recommends, probably 1 tablet a day.
