Lab results
I am just gonna list everything on my lab sheet because I need help with what everything stands for and if my levels are good- my family Dr just says everything looks good,, but I want to be certain!! Also I am trying to increase my protein and liquid amounts, I am just feeling very fatigued and tired, also thought that could be my iron levels?
I would appreciate any advice/ suggestions because like I said I do not know what any of these mean, etc. Thanks!
Here is what I am taking daily:
- 2 centrum multi-vitamins
- sublingual B-12 2500MCG (4-5 times a week) - was told by dr to increase to 4-5 times a week because of levels
- Upcal D powdered calcium- 1000 mg
I was told to take the B12 everyday until my levels get higher and also to take an iron supplement (slow fe?) and vitamin D, does anyone know how much vitamin D to take each day?

I don't know about most of your levels, but I think your B12 is low. My surgeon says we should be at least 400. I take a 1000mg sublingual B12 daily, and my level is usually 900-1200. Have you checked with your surgeon about your levels? That B12 is pretty low, keep taking the sublingual B12, I take 5000mcg a day because mine is a constant battle. My surgeon wants me at least at 600 but I haven't ever gotten there. 200 or below is considered "dangerous" from what I remember, that's when nerve damage can begin.
I am not sure about the vit D though, I would just take what the bottle recommends, probably 1 tablet a day.
