Anyone exercising today?

I went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the ARC trainer.  Tonight I will do my physical therapy exercises and core stuff.  8 days until I meet with the surgeon for my hip.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

I ran 2 miles in the heat today and still suffering with plantar faciitis :o(  Hoping for a better run tomorrow.

I went to the gym today as well.  20 minutes on the bike.  30 mintues on treadmill.

I too suffer from Plantar Fisitis (can't spell worth crap)  I also have bone spurs and heel spurs. But I must trudge along and live with the pain.

Cyd...have you tried cortizone shots?  I had PF years ago and it took 2 or3 shots but took care of the problem completely.

I went to karate tonight...worked up a nice sweat fighting..although I still fight like a girl :)  Nothing like being the only woman in a room full of men to get your heart rate up LOL

I went to First Strides.  We did a timed mile so we could get an idea of how long it will take for us to finish the 5K and also so we have a goal time to beat.  My time was 15:57.  Not too bad.  I did jog twice during the "hard" parts and felt good about that.  I was definitely exhausted after the workout last night, but I think that was more due to the heat than anything else.

I did an hour on the elliptical yesterday and today, and I'm feeling prety good (although a mite sore this morning)

So Jealous no official workout since 8/18 my RA is so bad my fingers look like big fat sausages. I have been aiming for 10,000 steps and never stop moving does that count?
