Steffi,

Have a great week getting your classroom ready.  I always liked the do-over aspect of teaching as well.  It was therapeutic.  I hated the administrative crap that came down on our heads all the time, especially recently, if you know what I mean.

Hugs,

Trish

Good Morning All!

I am at work today until 2:45 then off to the hematologist. Hoping that they have a good plan of action to get this anemia under control. After my appt home to relieve my grandmother of her babysitting duties. It'll be nice having my Grandmother there, she told me if  I leave something out for dinner she'll cook - yay! :)

Good morning all!

Well today I am choosing to live in a state of peace and love.  Yesterday was a bit of an emotional roller coaster...got word from the D.A. office that the person who attacked me and vandalized my place did not accept the plea deal and so the case will now go to trial before a judge in the fall.  I had a bit of meltdown yesterday after that...but I managed to pull myself out of it and will just face the situation and deal with it ---it is all I can do.  I can not live the next few months in a state of worry and anxiety.  I just have to keep moving forward and focus on taking cre of me and my life.

As for today...not much on my agenda.  I think I am just going to head to the post office and the store and then just pretty much hang out at home.  Read, watch a movie and try to relax and enjoy my last few days off before the school year begins.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!!!!!

Much luv!!

Good morning all - I'm late posting today as we were up bright and early and at the surgical center by 6:15 for hubby's second cataract surgery - it went beautifully and we are home and he is relaxing and loving his new eyes. I'm taking some time to get caught up on here, FB and email and then will head out to do some grocery shopping and then packing for the weekend at the beach,

My nephew is all moved in and so far, so good...he seems very happy here and is a big help in a lot of ways - so here's hoping this was the right decision for all of us and we don't end up regretting it somewhere along the way.

Not much else on my agenda today - just glad hubby is through this second surgery and will be able to drive again safely!!

Kathy,
MIL is still invalid after her second eye was done on last Friday. Sigh. Some people are just attention seekers. BTW how long do they have to wear those fashionista sunglasses she is driving me crazy wears them even when the lights are out. She better watch out or she will tumble down the stairs. LOL

Your MIL is a piece of work! You only have to wear those 'lovely' sunglasses if you go outside - they keep things from flying in your new eye - I already bought hubby much more fashionable sunglasses! Those things scream OLD PERSON but I did see a woman walking in my development wearing hers this morning - then again I live in a 55+ development so we're all OLD PEOPLE - LOL!! But no, she doesn't have to wear them indoors and definitely only for a few days. Do yourself a favor and go buy her a pair of cute cheap sunglasses. I got hubby's for $5.

Oh, and he's back at work today...

Today I've woke up in a grumpy mood set off by many minor events. I've got to turn that around soon before my whole day is shot.

I decided to go with a peanut butter smoothie for breakfast with a tablespoon of sg vanilla pudding and a tablespoon of lite cream cheese added to inspire pb mix (26g protein) a big tablespoon of pb2 and skim milk with ice. The texture is AMAZING and may be my go to flavor for a couple days.

I've got 4 kids here this morning, 2 more arriving an an hour and a half. Then 5 kids come home after school. Soccer practice and hopefully my hubby will get the dryer fixed tonight. (crossing my fingers)

I'm not real good at excercising, so, today I'd like to set the goal for myself of some light weight training in my arms, some situps, pushups and then some naptime cleaning of my bedroom.

Nothing too exciting here.
