wonderful Wednesday Roll Call.........

That's me choosing my mood fo the day.  G-d only knows why I am up so late, but I am, so I'm posting roll call!!

Going to bed in a few..tomorrow is going to be a busy day.

I have work from 7-2.. on my lunch break, I am driving Siehara to her friend's house to hang out.  After I get done work at 2, I have an appointment with the periodontist.  I think my gums are almost at the healthy point, but I'll probably have to have cleanings every 3 months for the rest of my life.  ugh..

After the dentist, I'll go grab Siehara and we'll get dinner at a diner in her friend's neighborhood.  Glad it's day 3 of my pouch test.  I'll order eggs and eat like a 3rd of the omelette and take the rest home.. lol.

From there, I am taking Siehara to ANOTHER friend's house so she can hang out while I am at First Strides.  So, obviously from the friend's, I'll go to First Strides for the weekly session.

After I pick up Siehara, we'll head home and I'm sure I will crash from pure exhaustion.

Thursday's going to busy too.. must be September.. and school didn't even start here, yet.

Good Morning Lisa and PA,

Damn girl, the game was barely over and you post Roll Call.  Good job.  I was busy checking my e-mail and Facebook before I came over here.

I know why I can't sleep.  I fell asleep this morning and ended up having a four hour nap.  I am on a pain killer that is non-narcotic, but still causes drowsiness.  Then, my ENT doc put me on the Medrol Dose pack for a nasty sinus infection, which has gross symptoms, so I'll leave it at that.  That and the Phillies being in L.A. gave me a good excuse to stay up late.

Wednesday has me scraping myself out of bed sometime, and walking the dog.  Then, crocheting more bibs, because I got none done this evening because an old friend called and we talked during the first six innings of the game.  So, I must play catch-up.

I am bittersweet about Wednesday.  It is the first time since 1992 that I will not be at the first day of school in Philadelphia.  I mailed my resignation a couple of weeks ago, once I got the official word from Social Security.  Have a terrific day Steffi, and anyone else starting the school year this week.

((((HUGS)))) Trish--I hope that you are feeling better! As for the school year ...just think of this as an opportunity to refocus on you and your needs in this life.  You are doing all that you can and the stress of school was not something you needed to deal with on top of everything else--it is hard to be in such a demanding field as teaching especially when you have to deal with other issues look at the start of this new school year as a new start for you too.You are in my thoughts and prayers...have a good day!

Thanks Lauraanne,
I really appreciate what you said.  I am welling up with tears as I realize how many people care about me in this journey we call life.  I appreciate it especially because you understand the demands of the job...some of my kids don't, even though one of them is a teacher in a small district with two schools, elementary and high school.  They lack empathy because I don't tell them about the physical pain, or my mental health issues.  They are my kids, and they are ashamed of me retiring and going on SSD.

Hugs back at  you.

Good Morning Lisa & PA:

Today I'll be working 7:30 to 4.  Then to the gym, home to the treadmill, dinner, finish cleaning up the bedroom, then to bed.  Gene sees private clients tonight so it's me and Hider.  I did get all my clothes put away last night, tonight I have to organize my shoes and closet.

Hope everyone has an awesome day.....

Good morning all,

am heading down to the basement for a workout and then off to work.  I have been home by 6:30 the past two nights and that makes me so happy!  And, seeing a bunch of folks that I haven't seen in the past 2.5 months was great too - Lots of wow compliments which felt really great!

Sorry to be brief, but gotta get my butt moving!

xoxo,

Maura

Good Morning Pa and Lisa,
Lisa I really don't know how you do it.  There are others here to like Pam.  I don't know how you keep up with all the days activities, and moving from one place to the other all the time.
Today finds me pulling together the few little last minute things for Tn.  The van is packed with all these plastic containers with life's possessions.  At least I will get my husband away from this crazy failing business, and some of the worries associated with it for a few days.  Work on the house down there when we arrive, and some fun time in Dollywood, and maybe an evening show.  It will just be good to get away.  Now if we could only be there, without having to drive there.
Trish think about this as a new chapter for yourself, and a new and better direction for you.  There will be lots of other things to fill your time that you will enjoy.  Get busy on those bibs girl!!!
Everyone have a good day, stay safe and hydrated, and may you have strength to meet the challenges you face.
Hugs Ena
