People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

My Dad left me a life insurance policy to cover the RNY surgery.  That way it was tax free and it was his living gift to me.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

Awesome!   That is a very kind and generous offer and I would accept it if I were you.  If you want to keep the expenses in line for him I'd put Sauceda in the search bar above and check out that doc in Mexico.   He does phenomenal work, really beautiful, at half the cost here and there are ALOT of OHers using him and their pics and experiences are posted there.   The more experience in massive weight loss plastics the better outcome and he has that.  For me, one of the biggest advantages of Mexico is the anesthesia is a local like what we use for a colonoscopy so you don't feel crappy and tired for a month afterward from the general anestheis and you can accomplish more in one surgery than would be done here.    Hey, if I can't get coverage anyway then I'll go where I can get the best for less.   Good Luck Shilpa on your next adventure!
