OT: OK that sucked!

Well I had my thyroid biopsy today - talk about your unpleasant experiences - this ranks right up there. The endocrinologist actually wanted 3 of the 4 nodules biopsied - 4 needles in each nodule as well as the shots to numb the area. Wasn't so much the needles going in as him digging around to grab tissue samples. He said we'll do two and see how you're doing - I was ok so he did the third. Now we wait. I hate waiting.

Came home and drank a glass of wine then crashed for 2 hours. Feeling better now but very sore and already bruising - they were all in the left side.

That does sound like it sucked.  So sorry you're having to deal with this.  Keep us posted on how you're doing!!!

It does suck - I am sorry you had to go through it! I hope that they get the results back to you more quickly then expected. How are you feeling this morning?

Feeling used and abused - lol! Honestly feeling draggy - pushing myself to do some stuff, tho. Had to run to Quest for more bloodwork - this time thyroid - trust me after yesterdays episode this was a walk in the park. Throat is sore and neck is very tender and sore - swallowing is hard but I'm sure it'll be fine by tomorrow. They said 5-7 days for the biopsy results but I don't see the endo until Sept 20.
