**Wonderful Wednesday Roll Call**

I'm smiling just because I got some time to be on the boards....as evidenced by a full page of postings lol

First a quick lil complain....got an email out that our access to the internet will be completely taken away at work within the next month or so.  Freaking fabulous.  We actually DO use the internet for work related things too, btw.  And really - when the HECK am I supposed to get on here now?  But seriously - it's because people abuse the privelage and are morons about the whole thing.

First things first on the agenda today is meeting up with someone who apparantly was so overly concerned about his daughter's well being and recent tonsil surgery that he left his shirt up on the pediatric unit....cough eric cough....and is just sooooo damn lucky to have a friend who HAPPENS to work at the hospital, that she schlepped ALL THE WAY up two flights of stairs and retrieved said shirt.  Strong work Eric, strong work.  Hmmm.  There should be a fee for this sort of thing.  Hmmm.  I have ALL night to think about it...so be ready!

After that it's going to the gym for spin class or treadmill work.  I really want to do spin as I did the treadmill the other day (I AM trying to mix up my exercise routine as suggested), and not to mention today is "jamie" day at spin (IE....my fav instructor, always guaranteed to give a GREAT work out)...I'll see if I get there in enough time....

Then it'll be home, normal food packing stuff and then back for my last night at LVH this week....1900-0700 as normal.

Enjoy!

 Good morning Pam/PA;

Pam that really sucks about the internet access.  I guess employer's will always do what they can do squash our feeling good about our jobs.

I have been back to work for a little over a week now and very happy to be back after having been on short-term disability for 7 weeks.  I was going stir-crazy.

I saw a pain management doctor last week and got some trigger point injections in the pain areas to break up the muscle knots, seemed to relieve the pain a little, but still have plenty of issues.  I see him again on the 1st along with the neuro-surgeon.  It's been over 2 and 1/2 months since the car accident and I still have a lot of pain and issues.  I just wish they would get me out of pain so I could get back to the gym.  Hopefully, this new group of doctor's are good and will find an answer for me.

I have been doing good at maintaining my weight loss although I am down another lb this morning.  At least I am not losing weight every week now.  Last time I lost anything was almost 3 weeks ago, so hopefully my body is adjusting to the weight I am at and will stay there.

Today I have to deal with Personnel issues with a new employee I hired.  I have to put him on probation which is always stressful.  I hate having to impact someone's life, but they haven't been cutting it. Hopefully, he will get the message and work hard to make improvements.

Looks like it is going to be a decent day outside today, so I hope everyone enjoys the day.

I was an assistant type supervisor at a company at one point and any sort of "reprimanding" like probation etc that I had to do always caused me a BOAT load of stress.  Hated it!

Good Morning Pam & PA;

Pam - At work many of us need the internet to preform our everyday functions so they block certain sites.  One of them being OH.  Much of the reason I am just about non-existant from here most of the time.  I could understand facebook, myspace, music download sites etc but oh well.

Work today till 4pm.  It's been a week and half since I've made it to the gym or on my treadmill.  I get home from work, my mouth is in so much pain - I take a percocet and off to dreamland I go.  Saw oral surgeon - he said I'm healing nicely - everytime I have any type of oral surgery it kicks my butt and puts me flat out for weeks.  Go figure, I have have major surgery on my body and I bounce back in a few days.  Weird.

After work - home to take a percocet, maybe eat some soup w/chedder cheese melted in it and some unflavored protein powder.  Still not able to eat anything other than pureed or liquid.

Hope everyone has an awesome day...

Ida

Right now we have limited access...with certain sites blocked such as shopping and FB and stuff like that.....but now they are taking it away completely....

My department has that same stuff blocked, but there are some sites we can get into because of the heavy research we do everyday that they can't block everything.  The old department I used to work in has had all access taken from them - a few in that department didn't know how to behave and then there was one guy that knew computer stuff and was able to get around the companies blocks - needless to say he no longer has a job with the company....It's sucks that adults can't behave themselves and at times need to be overseen in a manner that even children don't need

Thank God for cell phone with internet access

Good morning everyone!

Well, today is the day I take my son to college.  Both sad and happy for him at the same time.  Boy, is my life changing this month!  Opening the store tomorrow!

I have been doing really well with foods so far, no episodes.  Still doing mushies, I am going to try some new foods over the weekend and see how it goes.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

The nerve!! We don't have restricted access here but I have prying eyes after about 8:30 so  I stay offline unless I need to. I use the internet a lot for research and ordering so it will never be completely taken away.

I am back at work today until 11 and let me tell you it is kicking my ass. Yesterday I left with a migraine from over doing it physically. Not today, I am staying at my desk. Amelia is still getting up at least once during the night to eat and was awake twice last night but feel back asleep when I gave her her pacifier. Needless to say even with an hour nap when I get home I am exhausted. Next week is going to be interesting with going back to work full time.

OK enough whining! After work today picking Amelia up from Chris and headed home. I have laundry and cleaning the kitchen to do.

Have a good rainy day all

Good morning all:  first and foremost.. Great Job Pam being a super friend for the anonymous *eric* person and getting their shirt.

Second.. sorry I have not posted lately.. work and life are kicking my behind.  So much to do and so little time in the day.  The load should lighten up next week.  WOOHOO.

And today.. I'm posting because one year ago today.. I started my journey for better health and along the way I met all you wonderful people.  So I wanted to say... Today is a great day and everyone go out and enjoy it.

I personally will be working out , doing homework and being swamped with work.  And I have the energy to do it thanks to my RNY and the support of this board!!!

Congrats on your one year!!!! I happen to think today's a fabulous day for a surgiversary -- probably because it's my two year!  Celebrate your re-birthday, you deserve it! CONGRATS!
