So when Amelia gets me up early I get to see whacky infomercials LOL here is this mornings
http://yonanas.com/ it turns frozen bananas and frozen fruit into and ice cream like product. You decide, worth $50?? I can do something similar in my food processor. It's a great idea though. Take frozen peeled bananas and toss them in the food processor, let it whir until creamy and it does taste a lot like ice cream! You could probably do it in a normal blender too

Liz,

I would stick with the food processor! $50 for a thing on an infomercial....nah, I will pass!!
Btw, you have inspired me to bake and cook more! I have been a baking fiend the last two weeks. I have been working on SF brownies and SF peanut butter choc chip cookie bars. I have been trying different things to improve the final product. I also make the cheeseburger pie once a week! LOVE IT!!

See ya tomorrow!

I agree with Beth - use the food processor or your blender.  Save the money -it's truly not worth it.

You can also blend a puree of fresh fruit and a little juice, maybe a little evaporated milk or almond milk, then put it in your ice cream maker to make a "sorbet" or gelato...

one night when AB was still tiny... and I was still on Mat leave I was sitting on the couch nursing her and fell asleep... Jeremy came down to check on me later and I had passed ou****ching some infomercial about how to make your man junk bigger with all natural products... I never heard the end of it... and I think it was on the food network lol...  I know I was watching something cooking wise... lol!

On my breaks....in the break room...there is always undoubtedly one infomercial or another on which is always as hysterical....
