Surgery went well.
PAIN is a whole different story. I'd rather have WLS again compared to the pain I am in with this. When Gene gets home from seeing a client in crisis he's going to call doc to see if they can perscribe something a bit stronger. I'm scared to death (no pun intended) of pain meds so I'm not really liking the idea of needing a higher dosage....

Keep your chin up Steffi, it is a tough recovery after plastics! Happy Anniversary to you and Larry!! Here is to many more happy years together!! Mazel Tov!!
Today begins Mommy camp. That means that Dee and I will be together for the next two weeks!! YIPPEE!!! Hopefully we won't drive each other crazy! I am going to have her do some review work and get her ready for second grade. We are also going to visit her new school. I want to make sure that she is somewhat familiar with the school and the people that work there. I also want to get any forms that need to be filled out and make sure that they are ready for her!!
Tomorrow, we are going to get together with some friends and spend the day together! Dee LOVES going there because her bestie is there. She doesn't know about it yet, I like surprising her!! I am looking forward to catching up with them and getting a break from the everyday crap.
Steffi, if you want some visitors I am sure we could stop by! Let me know when might be a good time...

Good morning all - Congratulations and Happy Anniversary Steffi and Larry - 18 years is awesome! Sorry to hear you're not feeling up to par but hopefully you'll come around soon.
I'm back at work resting and recuperating after a weekend of way too many adult beverages and bad eating - so today its detoxing my system from all the bad stuff and getting my act together. It was a fun weekend, tho, so I'm not complaining - just know that too much alcohol and bad food choices are leaving me feeling 'blech' this morning.
Have to call the vet today - my little furball either has a hot spot on his leg, got bit by something, or is in pain in that area because he's bitten and scratched himself raw behind his right front leg. My nephew is at our house right now doing some handyman work so I let Jude home with him today instead of dragging him to Fuzzy Butts - hopefully he'll rest because he was up a good part of the night.
Not much else on my agenda right now - resting up this week for another busy weekend coming up. Almost seems like we're making up for all the lost weekends we had with my mom - I think hubby is ready for a 'nothing' weekend but don't see one of those in our future. He'll live.

Steffi I hope that the fever stays at bay and you turn the corner very soon. When do you start back to school?
As for me and Mia I have a Dr appt at 11:45 to discuss my lab results and come up with a plan. I hop that se can do something soon because I feel yuck and have to go back to work on monday (double yuck!). After that I think I have to make a drive through Starbucks :) then we are just home to hang out, do laundry, clean and make dinner - the usuals.
