Maura,
It was, but can't help things happening.  If only I could have budged the lugnuts I'd have been on my way pretty quickly.  When they are put on the car by air tools I am no where near strong enough to budge them.  Next month is going to work out - I know it will!!!!

Good morning PA,

Just got back from the gym. 20 minutes on bike, 30 minutes on treadmill.  Today still not much. Just relaxing at home till about noon then going to see my folks in Hatfield which is about a 40 minute drive from here.  Not much else going on.  Hubby won't be home till tomorrow from his weekend in NH.

Hope everyone has a good day.  GO PHILS!!

Hi Trish,

You didn't mention in your post at all about how you slept.  I would imagine with all that you did yesterday you should have gotten a well deserved good nights rest.  Hope so.

Have a great time at the Phillies game today.

Good  Morning Trish & PA,

Trish - am glad that you were go, go, go yesterday, can hear in your words, that you are happy with all you accomplished!

Had a great day yesterday - Barix meeting and then home to got to my brothers - It was nice to have all 3 of my brothers, my parents, and two of my aunts together yesterday.   We took group pics of all of us (not many times that we are all together).  There has been much discord in my family over the past 5 years, so it was actually a miracle to have everyone together AND getting along!  We talked, laughed, ate and hung in the hot tub at the end of the night.. very nice - slept like a baby..

Today, I am heading to get my roots dyed :) and then we are back here doing some housework and then heading to our friends to hang by the pool and bbq...

That's about it!

Have a great day PA - what awesome weather..

Does your family put FUN back into DYSFUNCTIONAL, Maura??   Mine certainly excels at it!  A friend of mine recently called them a bunch of snipers, which is perfect since they're always taking shots at everyone.

I'm still cringing in sympathy at the story of your dad leaving the seat up!!!

Yes, My family is part Hatfield, part McCoy and I married in to the Cleavers..  Mark is the beav..

Re: My dad - it just goes to show that Mark is such a perfect man that he ALWAYS puts the seat down, so I never look..  Abdominal open surgery is the worst.. falling in the toilet made it all that much more memorable....  You'll feel lightyears better in another week.  Was good to see you and Paul yesterday!!  Glad to made it there..

Love love love the family description!!!!  And so glad to know I'm not the only one with a 'colorful' family!

Funny---I'm finding this recovery easier than my lap rny.  I had a lot of pain from the gas they blew me up with for the rny, I think mostly from things being moved and stretched out.  This has been painful too but is manageable.

It was good to see you yesterday too!!!  Still have no idea when you snuck (sneaked?) in past me!

Hi all!!!

It was so great to see folks at Barix yesterday!  Sorry I didn't get to meet you in person, Trish.  I saw you leaving early, but I just can't get up and move that fast yet.  (Still healing and moving slowly.)  I'm always happy to see friends at meetings, and it does my soul a world of good when someone is happy to see me.  You guys rock!!!

Nothing planned for today, other than hopefully finishing my library book.  It's only 870 pages!  lol  I find it hard to read when on pain meds---just can't keep my eyes open.  I'd like to get out for a little walk sometime today too.  I'm trying to keep a little active without overdoing it.  I'm amazed at how the exhaustion just comes over me now.  (Laureen---thanks for letting me know that's normal!!!  I figured it was, but it's always good to know I'm not unique.)

Have a great day, all!!!
