** Thoughtful Thursday roll call **
Today I am heading to Rothman in Philly for my follow up to the cortizone shot. It didn't work. Looking for a surgery date now. Then hanging with my friend Vicki this afternoon - a lot of girl talk to be done.
Healing vibes being sent to Steffi and Lynn... hope your recovery is going smoothly.
Maura - congrats on the 100 pounds!

Good morning everyone - Steffi you give as much, if not more, love and support on here than you'll ever receive back - some day I hope to meet you in person but til then being OH buddies is the next best thing!
Lynn - hope you're up and moving around soon - but take it easy on the knee - let it rest and heal.
As for me I'm back at work - Hubby's cataract surgery went great yesterday and he is just amazed at how much he's seeing now and how much he's been missing! Only 'problem' during surgery is that he's very chatty when nervous and since they don't knock you out he kept talking during the procedure and they said that made it more difficult, so next time hopefully he'll be more relaxed or they'll relax him with stronger drugs - LOL!! But he's heading back to work today - against my better judgement - but he's a grown man so what can I say?
Taking a vacation day tomorrow and we're heading to our friends' place at the beach - can't wait!! Nice LONG weekend and its supposed to be beautiful, so hopefully those storms they're calling for will come thru today, knock this stinking humidity out, and it'll be lovely.
Not much else on my agenda today - work, getting my hair trimmed tonight, then heading to the beach.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Kathy
Nothing going on today, other than continuing to heal. I had the doc look at my incision yesterday, since I was worried about an infection. Everything is ok; I just need to wipe it with peroxide at night. She also removed the steri-strips, so I don't have to worry about that now.
I had gained 6 lbs overnight in the hospital and knew it was all fluid. It's a week today, and I'm down 11 lbs now. I haven't been eating as much since surgery, but I wonder how much of that weight was from the tumors.
I may go to a friend's house for a while today. I'm getting tired of living on the sofa and not being able to do anything, so it will be nice to get out for a while.
Have a great day, all!!!
