Itchy rash

I need something to take away that stinky, itchy rash under my sagging skin in the stomach area.  It is so irritated and I have no idea what to put on it.  Is this something that I should document also incase I decide on the tummy tuck...I don't think I'll go that route but if this rash is something I will have always then I won't suffer with that.  It's right on my huge scar from the hysterrectomy and it's driving me crazy!

Any suggestions?

If a TT is even a remote possibility call your PCP and make an appt have them document it. Also take photos. If it isn't then you can use gold bond powder, or I have even heard people using things like monistat or jock itch cream. Many times it is a yeast infection so these things work. Most importantly keep the area clean and dry.

this is what my PCP told me to watch for with that area... if is smells and itches then it is a skin yeast infection.... and he gave me a RX cream to use... when I'm out I can call him and he will call more in for me... and I just call in and leave a message for him... got another rash... mark my chart...

if it doesn't smell then use the gold bond baby powder... most CVS carry it... and Babies R Us...

Thanks Liz and Shannon, went to the doctors and it's a yeast infection.  He said it's normal with the sagging skin...it's gross though, it stinks and itches and sore.  He gave me a prescription cream and told me also to keep a record of everytime I get it and chart it.  He is also documenting it too.
