Thursday (It's the new Friday) Roll call
Well Good morning PA peeps,
Woohoo - I am off on Friday, so Thursday is my Friday!
Have just finished working for the day (in at 8am, in office til 8pm, home at 9 - back on line at 9:30 and just signed off - Have I mentioned that I hate this project? Only 16 days left! My routine has totally been derailed and I can't wait to get back on track.
I'm trying to read up when I can, but am getting behind on the goings on of my extended family on here. Out of site is NOT out of mind though!
Have a great day PA!
xoxo,
Maura

Morning Maura and the rest of the PA Gang...
Finishing up my last 30 minutes of work and like usual, the last hour or so is the longest! From here, I am going to stop at the grocery store, buy more of the SF brownie mix, black beans and cream cheese. It seems my co-workers are doubting the delightfulness of black bean brownies. That or they just want brownies. It could go either way, but I will be making them at some point to bring in for them to sample. I contemplated making them regular ones, but the people here will eat anything, literally anything. Might as well make something I can enjoy too. Actually, I'll be getting the ingredients for two batches, because apparently Miss Plastic Surgery wants some and we all know that she and the kitchen don't mix. In order to save the rest of the Belitsky family from certain illness, fire or some other catastrophe, I will make her brownies.
Tomorrow morning I think I'm taking the kids to school because Erin works and then going to check out a bicycle shop in the area. I have not rode a bike in a very long time (like when I was little...in age and size). I'm excited to try it, but a little nervous to try something that is kind of "new". Is what they say about never forgetting true? I'll let you know.
After that excursion, I'll be heading home, making brownies and then back to work from 3pm to 1am. If anyone hears anything about the folks who are having surgery today at any point, please shoot me an email ([email protected]) or text (610-972-8266).
Hope everyone has a great Thursday. Oh and Maura, for me, Thursday is the new Wednesday, just sayin....

So you need to either work with you or have plastic surgery to get some of the brownies? WTF?! Does ER staff count as working "with" you.. I mean...we DO provide you with a bed for your patients while you're streeting it, AND provide the LCCO with a fairly steady stream of work.....just sayin'
I'll be at work (LVH) on Friday. Just sayin'

Go get the bike - trust me you haven't forgotten how to ride - that was one thing I literally dreamed about after my surgery because I always loved my bikes as a kid and hadn't ridden one in 30+ years, but it became a goal of mine to get a bike and ride it, so last year, for my 52nd birthday, my husband and mother bought me a beautiful blue cruiser bike, and I ride it all over my development. I LOVE IT!! And you will, too - its an incredible feeling to get back on a bike and feel good about it and about yourself - so go get yourself a bicycle and pedal your arse all over town!!
So the bike thing was kind of a bust. The guy was very nice, very informative and opened my eyes to a few things about bikes and my needs. I was kinda hoping to be able to get some information and then go out looking for a used bike. Well.... apparently someone of my height, size, etc... needs a larger frame bike, etc. So unless I can find one of those used, I might be out of luck in that department. The price tag was a little steep but do-able in time. I am still completely overcome with the mental demons and that holds me back as always. I'm still very much questioning myself and without a doubt, in my mind, old Eric was the guy at the bike shop. More info to follow....
Good morning. We do miss you Maura.
Today I am working half a day. Had some interesting things happen here at work yesterday so I am glad I am off for a few days. Working hafl a day and then heading down to NC for my nieces Graduation. I am very glad that she is finished her HS program so that she will have her HS diploma, it was touch and go for awhile. she has so many challenges I am happy to celebrate this with her. It will be nice to see some of mh HS buddies on Sat, but we have some family stres to get through first, My parents who have not been in the same room with each other and their partners in at least 10 years, Needless to say neither of them are very gracious about it and make us miserable. I am hoping 10 years will grow some maturity LOL
Anyway if I am not on that much it is because I am down south
