Wow wish our company would do something like this. Like you I work for the insurance company and yes we pay HIGH premiums, they just went up last year and the company didn't tell anyone they were going up.
Fortunately I have 4 more years on Gene's insurance - then we have to go on mine. His retirement benefits give him 5 years of health insurance after retirement, and his benefits are much better than what my company offers.

That is great! We have that program, but all we have to do is participate to earn the insurance credit. The theory is that more folks will choose to participate that way. We don't do the waist measurement, and my question to you is, exactly where do they measure your waist? When I measure myself, I measure my waist at the smallest part, which is just below my ribcage. But I have seen that the waist measurement should actually be taken at the belly button, which on me is closer to my hip measurement! So I am curious as to where the measurement was taken.
