so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, happy for you:)  How long will you be in?  You will be right around the corner at Barix, so I can come to visit you depending on how long you will be there! 

I agee with Nicole re: the lift chair - you can rent them from some of the medical supply places - I think that they are like $100/week (I had looked in to renting for my mom) - Abdominal surgery makes it hard to get up and down and being able to recline and then have it help you up would be a godsend - I had abdominal surgery to fix some plumbing issues in 2007 and wish I knew they existed!

I slept in my chair for the first 2 weeks.  We rented ours from rent a center. Best thing we ever did

Ah my dear, as I texted you... this is so amazingly great!  It's good that you don't have a ton of time to worry and get yourself nervous, I think.  That would be the tough part for me.  And as you're having it at Barix, no need to fuss with making sure they have appropriate nutrition on hand for you and know all the protocols, so that's a MAJOR worry off your plate.

Just get a TON of hugs from everyone in this week, because it's gonna be a while before you're going to be able to hug anyone without hurting.... "remote hugs" as we say in my house when someone's sick ;-).

Yes, I'm jealous.  I know there's no chance of getting insurance approval for me.  So yes, you're gonna look so sweet and perky and even MORE petite.  Sigh.  Just means even MORE guys are going to be hitting on you!!!  Haha!

Well as per my text...so incredibly happy for you.  Do me a favor - I am TOTALLY serious about driving to barix directly after work on Tuesday morning.  Just found out my little brother is coming in Tuesday afternoon - so the early morning is the only time I'm gonna have.  If you can talk to them for me....and have them let me in before 10am, which I believe is their normal visiting hours?  I'll bring em coffee!!!!  (not you chicky....you get whatever Barix orders lol)

Congratulations Steffi!! I want YOUR insurance! LOL!! I know you're going to do just fine with the surgery - don't think about it too much - it'll be here before you know it and then more WOW's will be coming your way - Larry better get ready - he'll be beating the other men off with a baseball bat!!

     Congratulations Steffi on your upcoming plastics.  They really won't know you when you go back to school.  Glad that you are heading back to Barix and that insurance will cover most of the surgery.  Your recovery from plastics is going to be way more physically than it was from WLS so PLEASE be gentle with yourself.  Know that you will be in my prayers.
