Manic Monday Roll Call
morning all... woke up earlier than I thought I would after not getting in until about 2 again last night. I went to karaoke down in Blue Bell with a work friend and a few others. There are pics on FB. I've already been to the grocery store and Sheetz and got my vitamins out for the week. Now, I'm here posting and watching Big Brother. I took a 1/2 day today working 11:30-3:30 figuring I would not be alert at 7 to work the full day. After posting roll call, I'm going to lay back down until about 11:25 then get up to work.
After work, I'll have dinner-- steak--yummy. I need to get to the post office. Siehara wrote and requested rain boots--yes, I suggested them before she left--yes, she thought she was too cool. Yes, I bought her a pair yesterday and will pay an arm and a leg to ship them to her.
Then, off to the gym. There is a cardio step class at 5:30. I think I'm going to try that for my cardio today. After that is Pilates and if I'm not too worn out by then, I'll do Body Pump. I still have to watch what I do in Body Pump because my shoulder is still sore. I think it may be time to call the doctor to be sure it is nothing serious.
After the gym, home to shower and Bron is going to come up and watch a movie and just hang out for the night.

Morning Trish,
Sorry to reach you are dealing with more pain, hope that with the drop in the humidity you will feel some relief, aah the joys of our 4-legged friends when they are being silly. . .
I had a very busy weekend, but that is nothing new, even with everything I do, I don't seem to be able to fit it all in, but at least I have the ability and energy to get things done, which still amazes me, as I can all too vividly remember how my life used to be, especially on those very hot, humid days, like we had this past weekend, those were the days when I hid in my house and everything I did took great effort, now I need more time to accomplish all that I can do, I am so thrilled that my life is this way . . . Thankfully, the humidity is much more endurable and the temps too, Roxie may even get to play at the park this week. . .
Well I am at work and things here are not too bad at the moment, obviously, or you would not be hearing from me. As I may have mentioned, my job situation has not been ideal and today I have a meeting at 3 pm with my two attorneys to discuss how to fix the issues that we seem to be having, please send your positive thoughts my way, so that I can be level and not emotional and keep an open mind, I may not "love" this job, but it beats unemployment.
Life is really good, I choose to focus on the positives and how to create an environment for more of the good things life offers.
Wishing anyone facing challenges, the peace and strength to get through it.
Hugs, Laureen

Good Morning Pa,
Still in Tn, my daughter and her family left on sat. for home, so all is quiet now. Waiting for the plumber, he was to be here at 9am, its 12:05 now, what do you think, is he still coming. Not. He'll have to wait on me now, it looks like it will be tomorrow morning as far as I am concerned. Off to the post office, I opened a PO box, and my husband sent our marriage license and the title to my car so I could transfer the title to Tn, and get a drivers license here.( I needed the marriage license to prove how I got my name????) Well the person at the post office that puts the name on the PO boxes was on vacation, so my box was not opened right away, and the neither the title or the marriage license have turned up. ( they think it may have been returned to sender) Just great, they were mailed on two different days, and have not turned up here or at home. I sure hope they have not lost them it will be two weeks on Thursday. Some things never change, me and Murphy's Law are still one. Since I am alone my eating habits are not as good as they should be. Went out to breakfast yesterday with friends, and ate the best I have in a few days. Planning on going to Home Depot, Walmarts and the butcher for some steaks. (yummy) Will go shake the tree at the post office first. Are you all bored yet??? At least its not so hot. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Trish & PA.
We had a fantastic time in DC for the Boy Scouts parade. I took over 450 pictures...a light day for me on a trip..LOL. I hope at least 1 of Caleb marching in the parade turns out well. I am such a sap, that as I watched him march by, I got all teary-eyed. My baby was walking down Constitution Blvd on our National Parade Route...something the Boy Scouts haven't done since 1937. Our congressman took us on a private Capitol tour and we even got to see parts no tours cover...very cool. Then dinner with him. We didn't get home until almost 1 am. I am dragging today, but it was all worth it for Caleb to have a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Hi Sara and PA,
What a great day today, cool no rain and a day off for me. Sara, What scout camp did Caleb go to this year? My 2 sons did not go to camp this year, Lucas 18 - is working and then heading to college and Ray is 16 1/2 left this morning at 6:30 am from Plymouth Meeting Mall to go to the 2010 Jamboree. If anyone is interested in following what is going on at the Jamboree google 2010 Jamboree. Totally amazing 38,000 scouts and 3,700 adult and youth leaders. It's so big that the Jamboree has its own zip code when it is held.
Anyway, back to work on Tuesday for more fun in the card store I work in.

Wendy,
Caleb's troop went to Heritage Reservation that is 47 miles south of Pittsburgh. This was the first time they went there. It was really nice and offered a pile more merit badges than the camp in our council (Seven Mountains Scout Camp). The bad thing was it was over 3 hours away, so we could not go for parent's night.
There were tons of Jambo scouts in DC in and/or watching the parade. My 2 best friends each have a son going to Jambo. They left Monday morning at 4 am. Caleb just crossed over in February to Boy Scouts. He is only 11 and a Second Class Scout. He needs one more achievemnet to make First Class.

I KNOW I was on here Monday morning at home. I even remember typing a post...I'm not sure if I hit send or what not...
Anyway - the long and the short of it:
Worked sunday night and didn't get home till after 3am
Was up by 8:30 Monday
Laundry/food prep
Hung w/ Lisa, Liz, Hailey, Mia, & Eric (who listened to us females male bash....and took it like a sport)
Came home, packed food, went to work where I still am.
