Sweating Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning PA,
I am up waiting for my bedroom to cool off. I don't have the A/C in there, so I have to put a fan in the door and try to draw the cool air into it.
Sunday has me trying to adjust to my medications...muscle relaxer and an increase in one of my psych meds. I will try to get to church, and an AA meeting. I am back to trying to do a 90 in 90. I also want to get some more cooking and baking done if possible. Cleaning my living room is also on the agenda. I still have packed luggage to unpack and put away.
Try to stay hydrated and cool.

Ah Trish - you beat me to it! I was just looking at the clock and thought it was time to post - it is a new day after all.
Happy Sunday y'all. After a quiet day and a busy evening, watching many campers crying as it is the last night in camp for many of them, I am sitting with the health staff having a few snacks and libations. I am looking forward to getting back to some normalcy when I get home - this snacking and drinking nightly thing is wreaking havoc on my muffin top...Oh - speaking of.....after I posted about that on Friday - I called the plastic surgeon as the insurance company told me that they knew nothing about my trying to get approval for plastics, so they said - i was approved!!!!!!! I am stunned.... I am meeting with the surgeon on Monday and will know more then - but the more I look at my muffin top that I REALLY am trying to embrace - haven't worn the girdle in a few days, I hate it more and more! I jokingly said to Larry, "Now I can find something else to hate about my body!" He didnt' find it as entertaining as I did! :)
Sunday has me getting up - packing and heading back to Philly. Although I was sad to be leaving camp a few days ago - this new venture is getting me a bit excited!

Congrats on the approval!! I know how frustrating it is to wait for that! Glad to hear that you are coming home. Miss seeing you!! We are still getting the girls together, right? Maybe while they play we can do something?
As far as the muffin top, most of us have them but as someone said to think of it as a badge of honor to all the hard work we have done. Look at those before pics and realize that you have done an AWESOME job! Don't beat yourself up and hopefully soon it will be taken care of....

Yup... it's 2:30 and I am posting roll call. I just got in from a great night!!
Started out with singing with my friend and his little jazz group. The place was smaller and quieter than I would have imagined. I did my 3 songs while trying to keep the same time as my friend who was playing the keyboard. It turns out that he plays the keyboard and is accompanied by either a violinist or his singer. Deb and her hubby Bob came out and had dinner and supported me. I sat with them the whole night, except while I was singing. It was so great to get to know them. Great people!!!! I'm so glad I agreed to do this.
After that, my plan was to keep up my singing at karaoke. BUT, I was contacted by a blast from the past
asking for some company 
so I went and spent time with him. He has never seen me dressed up and was quite pleased with me in my dress and heels.
I just got in and now I'm headed for bed.
If I get up in time, I will head over to the gym for pilates and body pump. If I don't get up in time for the classes, I will either head to the gym anyway or go to the pool and get some more laps and leg lifts in there. Tomorrow night, Bron is coming down after work and we are going to head to Blue Bell for karaoke. If anyone is in the area there, or wants to go, let me know. We are meeting up with a coworker and a few other friends.

Hmmm, you are in a jazz group, huh? Up here, we have a place called Olga's Cafe and Bistro. Every Tuesday (open mic), Friday (jazz night), and Saturday ( variety), they have live music. The turn out usually is good. They charge a cover on Saturday nights but the other two nights are basically open. If your band wants a change of pace, let me know and I cannect you with them.
