Thank you Liz, and thank you for your presence on the board. I remember my one dumping episode...I posted here because I wasn't sure what was happening, and you jumped on within about 30 seconds to help. (Of course that was a memorable event.)

It has been such fun to follow your pregnancy and beautiful Amelia's first days!

Thank you Lisa! You add SO much to the board and I'm so glad you are part of the Barix meetings too. And one of these days, I'm going to pop up a new avatar, with your help!

Lynn,

Congratulations on your surgiversary.  The thing that I always remember about you is that you sit at the Barix support group with your journal and write different things down.  It has been a pleasure sharing this past year with you. I really appreciate all that you contribute at Barix and on this board.  I have to get back to reading my Women, God, and Food book.  You have such a positive outlook on things.  I am looking forward to seeing you in August and applauding your year of successing.  Sorry to hear about the torn meniscus.  I have no doubt that you will get through this with all the class and grace that you possess.  Take care.

Love, Donna

Donna, you are a real sweetheart. I remember those pre op sessions with Katie and Mike. And yes, I wrote everything down, because it helps me listen better. You were so open...and I was almost afraid to speak, out of fear that the surgery (1) wasn't ever going to really happen, and (2) that even if it did happen, it probably wouldn't work for me the way it works for everyone else.

I do plan to see you in August, hopefully with the knee better. (Funny thing - it hasn't hurt all day today. Maybe Florida agrees with me!)

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Thank you Shilpa ~ hoping to look as sharp as you do with a few more pounds. Of course, those last few pounds won't be easy but if they come off in the next year I'll be happy!
