Well, DEFINATELY don't do "Chike" protein shakes then...they are TERRIBLY sweet.

Glad you are experimenting now...but even if you like one now...do NOT, I repeat, do NOT buy a container of it  Your tastes change after surgery, at least for awhile.  Now...that being said..most people don't enjoy protein shakes after surgery reagrdless, but remember, it's MEDICINE and must be done!!

The nectar ones are pretty good...I used to use the cappuchino one and blend it with mil**** and NSA chocolate instant carnation breakfast for a chocolate mocha shake.  I would also use all the same ingredients for a warm one..(except for the ice of course) warmed (luke warm, you can't heat protein powder to high, it "curdles" for lack of a better term in the cup)

Good morning, Swede and PA!!!

Swede---Funny that you said Monday is right around the corner.  I kept thinking yesterday that it was Sunday, but I must have my days straight now as I know today isn't Monday.  lol

I was happy to see the sun when I woke up this morning!!  Yesterday was so gray and dark---it was a great day to hang out and read.

Nothing planned for today.  Paul takes Anson home to his mother tonight.  I'm not planning on going along---his mother was always so nasty that I used to get a headache and heartburn if I was within a few miles of her.  And besides, long car rides kill my butt anymore, even when sitting on a cushion!  So, I'll probably just stay home tonight, maybe get some laundry done.  (Machines here are really small and the dryer sometimes cuts off, so I try to keep up with the laundry.)

Have a great day, all!!!

Today we leace happy valley - Another great arts fest under our belts.. Food choice for dinner last night was NOT good.. we went for indian, I got chicken korma (mild), didn't eat rice, cleaned sauce of the chix, didn't eat naan.. even though I really wanted too.. but even the amount of sauce I had was too too fatty.. was curled up in bed after dinner.. at least we went right back to the room and I didn't ruin the evening.. damn.. love indian food..

Met Sara from the OH boards yesterday at the fest - It was very nice to put a face to the posts!  You look awesome might I add.. how much.. 1.4 lbs to go til goal?  Rock it girlie!!

Will hit boalsburg craft fair (all pa artists) on the way home - stop for dinner en route.. then home to the kitty cats that will certainly be all over us.. they don't leave us alone after an extended separation.

looking forward to sleeping in my own bed!

Love you PA!

Yea...when we are gone we get just enough attention from the feline crowd to know that they want to eat...and that they are PISSED at us.  After about half a day or so, though...all bets are off and they come climbing for some attention!

Good Morning PA!
Yesterday I got my 11 yr old son to go to the Boalsburg Arts Fest with me.  He actually had fun and saw a lot of kids he knew.  I was hoping to meet Maura there, but her & her crew decided to stay in State College for the day.  So....after Boalsburg we went to State College for a late lunch.  I loved getting to meet a fellow PA OH Boarder.  Maura, it was great to meet you.  You look great and are so lucky to have Mark who supports you so much.  And yes I have 1.6 pounds still to go.  I walked the Arts Fest at Boalsburg...and State College...and still walked over 3 miles with my best friend last night....I lost nothing!  I swear this last 1.6 are going to take forever.   Today I promised Caleb I would take him to see the Last Airbender.  I may also go back over to the Boalsburg Arts Fest, my best friend said she wanted to go over.

good um, afternoon my peeps......

Went out last night with Bron and had an okay time.. the bar up his way was dead and then when we came here to meet up with 2 of my friends, they were leaving because the one girl was super drunk and needed to leave.  Oh well, at least I got Bron here.

Woke up around 9 this morning and went over to the Caine's to drive them to the airport.  They are in Florida for a week.  I came home and laid back down.. exhausted from the weekend...

Now, just relaxing, watching the World Cup with Bron.  Later on, I'll bring him home and we'll hang out there for a bit.  Then home to chill for work tomorrow.

Don't get too excited by my day today, the rest of the weekend was a blast..

By the way pics are on FBwww.facebook.com/album.php

Good afternoon everyone!

I'm having a pretty good day today so far, after a screwy night of interrupted sleep.  I slept till almost 10am, which blows my mind.  It was wonderful.  The kids stayed with my mom last night because I was on-call and Erin still can't lift them due to her surgery.  Woke up, made us a good "Jersey" breakfast and then ran to the grocery stuff for my grandmother's pills and some other staples.  A very relaxing day.

I'm at work till midnight and then doing a quick return at 8am.  My entire schedule this week is completely chaotic.  Gotta love weeks like this!

Have a great rest of the day everyone!

Uh, you only had a good jersey breakfast because we happened to be talking at the time you were at the store.  Otherwise it woulda been a complete disaster.  Just sayin
