Good morning my PA friends!!!!!!

Saturday was a pretty great day!  Had a 60th birthday party for my MIL at my SIL's house!  The food was great, the kids were great, the swimming was great and the weather was great!  I even found some time to play some texting games with Steffi!  Had a nice time with that....

Today has me deciding if we are going to take the kids to Idlewild (amusement park) or if I am going to stay home and work on some projects around the house.  As much as I dont relish working on my yard and such, there are just some times when I dont feel like trudging around a crowded amusement park on a hot summer day.  Know what I mean?

I hope everyone has a wonderful time today and make the most of it....Monday is right around the corner.

Good Morning Everyone,
I have vacationed in Western PA many times, but have not done Idlewild.  We did do Kennywood once, and had a blast.  My son now lives in Pittsburgh, not far from there.

Today has me very sore, and upset with myself, because I fell asleep on the couch, and that is causing my soreness.  After walking Utley, I hope to get moving for church.  This afternoon, my sister and I are going to take my niece and nephew somewhere for a bite to eat.  They are adults, but my nephew is special needs, and my SIL is away in Canada on a trip.  So, since they are alone this week, we want to help them know we are here for them.

Did anyone else see that awesome Phillies game last night?  Unbelievable.

Trish

The Phils ROCKED last night!

Good morning PA,

Yesterday was nice in the Poconos.  It rained most of the drive going up.  But didn't look like it rained much at all at the in-laws house once we got there. Had a nice visit with them and a yummy dinner.    Oh, I almost forgot.  I did find the HOOD milk I was looking for on my way home.  I went to three grocery stores, but I finally found it.  I just need to find a store close to my home that sells it.

Today we are taking a day trip to the beach.  I think we'll be going to AC.  Packing plenty of water and snacks.  Along with all the other beachy stuff.

Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Morning Swede and Pa!

We had a great day as well yesterday, it was nice to just be able to enjoy the day.  Even ended up making a batch of sf chocolate chip cookies for myself, which I will be removing a few for the next few nights at work and storing the rest in the freezer.  To much temptation to have them just lying around.

I'm up and getting ready to go to the gym...8:15 spin class probably followed by abs and maybe even some weights.  Not a hundred percent sure on the weights..I have a personal trainer appointment tomorrow and I'd prefer not to be sore for that and really give 100% tomorrow considering my last work out with him was absolutely atrocious considering how sore and tired I was.

Stopping at the store on the way home.  I won't get to see Brian today...he's going out with his parents and he'll be leaving prior to me getting home from the gym.  Then it'll be making hubby a surprise batch of cookies (he doesn't do the sf thing and he mentioned he wanted to try "reverse" chooclate chip cookies...so I found a recipie that looks pretty darn good that I'm gonna give a try)  In between baking, I'm gonna finish the laundry I didn't finish yesterday, pack up food for work, and hopefully get a nap in otherwise before said shift at work.  7p-7a as always!

Enjoy the day!  It's already beautiful and sunny!

So - I typed this up right after Swede posted and then my stupid computer went haywire - I think it made more sense at 12 AM then it does at 7:30 - but here it is anyway! :)

Always fun playing texting games with you Swede....and now Facebook games.....ahhhh......two AW's up late at night....what are we SUPPOSED to do?!?!  Sleep?!?!  That's just crazy! :)

So - good morning all of PA - today was an interesting day to say the least - woke up at Lisa's, drove to camp to have Shabbat services, cried with my kids as we said prayers for my mom, moved rooms here at camp - long story - and not exciting - afternoon nap by the pool, dinnner, song session, babysitting and then took 6 foreign counselors from England to Wawa and Weis markets.  Defnintely an experience.

When I wake up it wil be back to work for me - gymnastics and a bubbles project with the little people.  Larry should be here by then, I hope - so some quality hubby/wife time....THANK GOD!  This afternoon we are getting a few new little people to play with for the next few weeks.

Two more weeks and I still don't know what I am doing the rest of the summer.  Anyway - that is it for my day - I am going to go to sleep soon....YES I AM!

I hope you all have a GREAT Sunday!

Sorry to hear about the room thing - doesn't sound like fun.

And, there could be MUCH worse places to wake up other than Lisa's lol

you slept at my house again last night???  I think you copied some of Saturday's roll call into this one.  You were NOT on my sofa when I got home.. if you were, I want to know WHY the hell I paid a sitter?

Good morning, PA!

Today, after church, hubby and I are going to Lancaster for the day and staying over.  We have to be at Millersville University in the morning for parent orientation.  Our son is starting there in the fall.  Any suggestions for good shopping this afternoon in Lancaster?  I see there are two outlet malls.

As part of my pre-op diet, I am trying out all the sample shakes I received.  Today is INSPIRE from Bariatric Eating, Caramel Latte.  It is so sweet!  Any other shakes out there not as sweet?  I guess I could just add more water...

Well, have a great day everyone!

Peace,
Deb

Have you tried any of the Nectar proteins?  I like to mix the cappuccino one into coffee flavored yogurt (Giant has it).  The apple protein is good mixed in with a packet of apple drink.  (I get the WalMart brand---tastes like apple juice.)  I had a hard time with protein shakes after surgery---they were just too sweet.
