Morning everyone! How about those Phillies????
I'm up early and at work. Loving the rain this morning. Working till 6pm, hoping to be able to cut out a little early, but time will tell. Of course, I'd like the rain to stop too by that point, but we will see. Heading to Pigapalooza tonight at the Iron Pigs stadium with Pam, Brian, the girls and Erin, to kick off All Star Week. I really don't know what it is, except for some sort of carnival thing. I don't know what the deal is with a rain date or if it is rain or shine. On-call overnight tonight and then working middles tomorrow.
Erin is feeling pretty good. She is a little sore, but getting around well and overall feeling good. Thanks to everyone who checked in on us yesterday and posted messages asking about her. You are all wonderful friends. Thanks again!

I had THE BEST birthday EVER in my life last night!!! From the comments on FB, to the crowd of people who showed up at the Pig Pen, to the FUN had at the Pig Pen and the diner afterwards... it was such an amazing night!!!
I drove Steffi and Tracy to the bar and back. We were crazy all night and YES I had 1 glass of wine.. I don't even think I had an entire glass.. someone told me Steffi and Tracy were drinking out of it, too. So, I was NOT drunk at all, but I had a blast!!!
There were tiaras, wands and pins to put the attention on ME instead of Steffi!! She even bought one of the tiaras!! There was drinking, eating, dancing, and boys.. LOL.
It was a fabulous night!
Anyway back to today... since I am up and both ladies apparently woke up early and headed back to their realities, I will do the same. I am going to take a quick shower and head off to synagogue to meet up with Siehara...oh yeah.. even got Sarah to come out last night!! Thanks to David for watching ALL the kids!
After services, we were going to head down to Austin's birthday party, but I really just can't imagine making that 90 minute drive today.. between timing of getting Siehara and my tiredness, plus the fact that it is raining and poor Sandra is going to have to fit everyone in her house. I just can't do it. Sorry Sandra.. I'll send you a private note and will bring Austin's present to Liz's.
So, this afternoon looks like nap time. My birthday weekend continues tonight when Bron gets off work if he is feeling better. He was kind of sick yesterday and had to leave work, so he slept it off. I hope he is better. Actually I have a sitter and really want to go out with him tonight, but if he is still sick, one of my friends who came out last night said that she and another of my friends were going to be hanging out at this one place if I wanted to come out. SOOOO, with or without Bron, I think Lisa's extending the birthday ONE MORE DAY!

Having a great time here in State College - we got caught in the rain yesterday and got drenched.. I mean, head to toe soacked, but it was fun - we were laughing hysterically..
Today starts with another round of walking the arts fest, lunch at an austrian restaurant (Herwigs - their slogan is where bacon is an herb.. should be interesting - I know they have salads (or salat) so am thinking that should be safe..
- then off to the other festival in boalsburg for the afternoon.

Good Morning All!! WEll I hope that the rain stops late this afternoon for Pam and Eric but let it keep raining until then! We need it so badly!
we have company coming over tomorrow so I need to get the house ready and some snacks made. Nothing fancy. Chris' Uncle and Grandmother are coming to see Amelia and my parents are going to stop over too. I just can't have company without some kind of food - it's an illness really lol. Also want to try out a recipe for a new cake. Lemon Yogurt cake. Right now I am just sitting in the rocker with a squirmy baby watching TV and getting caught up.
