**BACK TRACK THURSDAY WORKOUT**
Did I miss a Thursday work out post? I know it's Friday morning at this point....but c'mon ppl...did you move? Just a little? A flight of stairs you don't normally take? SOMETHING??
I went to the gym. And, in all honesty, had an absolutly TERRIBLE work out. Ok...my trainer wouldn't call it terrible...but I just could NOT get into the groove. Problem one...my thighs from this week and the various spin classes, 2 appts w/ the trainer, 3 days of weights total etc, along with busy nights at work (I walk well over 3 miles a night some nights) were just DONE. Normally after the warm up on the treadmill they stop hurting. Not so today. And they never did.
So, anyway - 15 mins on the treadmill and 30 mins w/ the trainer doing interval weight training. We normally do interval so I keep my heart rate up and get a minimal cardio work out at the same time.
Even he said to me "I know you are giving it your all today - but is everything ok? You aren't kicking these things the way you have been".... He looked back at my log and was impressed. Couple that with by the time I was AT the gym I had already been up for 26 hours...probably didn't help matters.
Soooooo...I moved. Even though I didn't want to and even though I felt as though I had never done any exercise before in my life, I moved
I moved! I totally understand that thigh pain I had it this morning (Friday) but I have been doing interval training on my Elliptical and really have been surprised at how much it has kicked my ass!! I am totally loving it! Any way I wanted to let you know how much I admire you dedication to taking the last few pound off. I know it's not easy!
