Wendy's new salads
Met Mike at Wendy's today for lunch and anticipated yet another small chili...which doesn't seem to fit our temps today, does it?
But I was pleasantly surprised at their new lineup of salads, includiing a breakdown of the contents of each one (such as 1/2 c. chicken, 1/2 c. fruit, 1 c. greens, etc.) I tried a chicken/apple/pecan and was full after eating the chicken and some of the apple, with a few pieces of greens picked out.
Big improvement over their old salads - variety of greens, and the dressings that we chose had 1g. and 2 g. of sugar, respectively (that was for avocado ranch and light ranch).
Another choice - and it's a good thing!
