Mom got me a SF cake at Super G in Rehoboth. Apparently the store keeps them frozen, and this one must have been in deep freeze for quite some time----it was horribly dry! The flavor was good, and it was fun to have icing flowers at least.
BTW, do you realize that it's also Ringo Starr's birthday????

Yes, today is his 70th birthday!! The whole audience sang Happy Birthday to him last night - lots of people were there with birthday banners and all. Let me tell you, that old man can still ROCK!! Heck they were all OLD - LOL!!! But they put on one heck of a show - it was amazing!!
He's celebrating his birthday tonight with a concert at Radio City - that should be a good one, too.
Glad you had some cake, even if it was dry - most sf cakes and stuff are dry so I stay away from them since I still have problems with foamies at times. It's just not worth it. Now sugar free pudding desserts are another story! Those are awesome and just a little goes a long way to satisfy a sweet-tooth craving.
