Where to Stay in Pittsburg?

 I will be visiting PA from Sept. 1-7 to go to a seminar on West Penn Hospital.  I would like to know where I can stay that is near the hospital and that is cheap.  Hotels over $50 per night are out of my budget.  Is there such thing as a place less than $50 per night?  Or do the hospital has a place for out of state visitor/patients?

Will you have access to a vehicle? There's really nothing that cheap over near the hosptial itself. In all honesty, I'd be surprised to find anything in that range in the city itself, but if you have access to a vehicle and are willing to drive a bit, you might be able to find something in that range.

 I don't drive anymore, but I move really well in buses and taxis.  When I was checking the hospital map, Google gave me a reference for a place called Family House Shadyside.  But there's no phone number.  They are pretty near the hospital plus the buses run almost in front of the area, according to Google map.  Also it gave me the alternative of the Airport Hotel.

Does anyone knows about Family House Shadyside?
