Jumping on the Wow bandwagon..

Yesterday we went to a barbecue and I saw a bunch of people that I haven't seen in about 5 years.  The reaction was great, I was actually nervous before getting there, as silly as that may sound.  

The first comment was that I looked stunning (not a word that has EVER been used to describe me).  The next was that I looked gorgeous.  I was very, very, very happy. 

Then came a creepy comment - The husband of one of my friends cousins has always been a little inappropriate.. he grabbed my arm, pulled me uncomfortably close, looked me right in the face and said, I always thought you were hot, but now, I don't think I'll be able to take my eyes off of you.. and then he was slow to release my arm and slid his hand down my arm and held my hand tightly the hair on the back of my neck stood up.  I pulled away, awkwardly said thank you (why was I thanking him for being a creep?) and then stayed the hell away from him the rest of the day.  And he did this right in front of my husband.. freak.

Today, I went dress shopping with my mother in law and I found 2 dresses that I really liked and the best part is that they were on sale - I also bought a pair of heels that are higher than I have worn in 20 years.. It felt good - my MIL was so complimentary of how I looked in the dresses.  

It was a great weekend, except for the creepy cousin

Great to hear that most of your compliments were nice ones!

As for the creep, if he approaches you again, say in a nice loud voice "Please keep your hands to yourself. I don't like be mauled by someone like you." That should warn him off; then let your hubby know.

Actually, I'd tell him now. That way he can tell the creep to keep his hands off his wife. He may not have noticed at the party, but if you're getting hinky signals, speak up.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.. and I completely agree that you are STUNNING.  I'm so happy you had those WOW moments and so deserved for such a great woman.  (and I woulda said to the creepy guy... "uhm  ewww  that is not a good happy thought"  :-D

Way to go on getting the reaction you did.  We all need to hear the compliments!  As far as the shoes go, the taller Siehara gets, the higher my heels get.  The problem is that they don't sell them much higher.. LOL.. She's going to be looking down at me by the time she gets home from overnight camp in August.

I just looked at Maura's pics also - she looks so much YOUNGER now!

I told my husband right away - he doesn't like this guy - he has known him a long time and he has always been that way (which is unfortunate)
