Minuteman Monday Roll Call
Good Morning Pennsylvania,
Trying to keep with the Independence Day theme with the Minuteman idea. I lived in Massachusetts for three years, about 20 minutes from Concord, and relived those battles monthly with my family daytrips.
I am up late due to indigestion and all sorts of nonsense with the bathroom trips tonight. Just can't rest.
Monday has me hitting Staples for ink, I am bone dry. I also want to hit Joanns for some bargains there, I think I need a new ball of yarn. I might venture to the gym for a swim, as it is supposed to reach over 100 today. My poor puppy does not know what to think these days.
Stay cool. Drink lots of water.

Good morning Trish - I am sadly wide awake. I REALLY REALLY did try to get back to sleep. Larry worked about 16 hours yesterday and finally got home and texted me at 5AM - which I stupidly told him to do - and the phone was in my bed - and it woke me up. I tried diligently yo get back to sleep to no avail. So - here I am at 5:55 - awake and getting sleepy.....hmmm....maybe I will fall back to sleep for abother hour.....
Once the day actually begins, I will head over to breakfast - maybe - I am thinking egg whites here in lieu of oatmeal in the dining hall. Then I get the little people for the morming. We have free play this morning, I am hoping we are outside as it will get MUCH warmer this afternoon and we will most likely be inside for the remainder of the day. The kids have a dance class this morning. LOVE to watch toddlers and pre-schoolers dance around. so so cute! This afternoon is napping - the kids - and then pool time. I have not yet found any time to do laps. I guess I need to start walking around - I mean I do that all the time anyway - but with the kids at their pace. not for exercise. I wish I was allowed to use the pool without there being lifeguards on duty. I can't do it in the afternoon when I have time as the kids have free swim and there is no way to set up a lap lane. Oh well. i should also probably STOP eating.....just a thought!
Tonight I AM going to the market. Didn't make it last night. Hung out with some of the adults here drinking and watching the bug zapper do its thing! Our very own fireworks! :) I also want to get to the Crossings - the outlet shopping center up here. Always a good place to find bargains. (well, usually - not that I need anything of course - but still......)
Oh - and a Molly update - she seems to have had two relatively drama free days. I know that it is not going to be totally smooth sailing, but atleast we seem to have reached some level of comfort. Larry and I have spoken with the counselors and they seem to really like her and only want what is best for her. You can't ask for much more than that. The other two are having the summers of their lives. Emily even asked if she could stay for the rest of the summer.....HA! (Like I have that kind of money laying around!)
That is it for me this morning. Going to try to get some sleep again. Have a great Monday, Stay hydrated and if you are outside - sunscreen, sunscreen, suncreen......just sayin!

Hi all!
My step son, back from Iraq, and his wife are here for a short visit. It is good to see him so fit and well. Did a lot of grilling last night. Went to Potato City where they had a live band and bomfire in the back. Very nice.
Today is a nice breakfast with them and a little show around town, not much to see here. And send them up to NY.
Not sure what I am going to do after they leave. We need an influx of funds to get gas for cars and mowers. We have a huge lawn. Oh well.

Another HOT one, the downstairs AC is still not working, fortunately we have an upstairs unit that is working. Using a fan to get the cool air downstairs. I'm not calling the repairman until tomorrow, don't want to pay holiday rates!!
Hubby has to work, I may go to the movies, it will be nice and cool there.
Steffi, the Crossings is awesome, my fav stores there are Coldwater Creek, Chicos and of course Coach.

Good Morning all. We are venturing out this morning to pick up our grocery order (Shop Rite lets you shop online and some one in the store collects the items for you then you just pull up out front and pick them up. When you have a newborn and it is 100 degrees out it is WELL worth the $10 fee!). Of course since I am out I'll stop at Dunkin Donuts for an iced coffee. Then it's home to finish putting away all the stuff from vacation and finish up the laundry. My Mom is stopping later for a visit too.
