Tired Tuesday Roll Call

Sorry to be a downer LOL. Just tired from all the weekend fun and back to a full day of work. I have work today then a few appts this evening. I woke up late and so I am wearing a ponytail and no make up. God help my clients. I had a great weekend hanging out with various friends, and a wonderful Watsu appt yesterday. It is a very healing, and relaxing experience. I recommend it. I hope you all have a good day even if you have to go back to work. I guess we should just be grateful that we have jobs to drag back into on after a holiday weekend as many do not. Sounds as if you all had a good weekend and had many new WOW's and experiences that is awesome.

I feel your pain, Nic.  I am exhausted.  My clock went off at 5 and I turned on my work computer only to find it was taking forever to log me in.  So, I went and made a pot of coffee.  Usually by the time I get back in my room, the computer is up and ready.  Not today.  Apparently, it is still recovering from the weekend, as well.  LOL!  I got back into my bed to wait for it to boot up.  It took over an hour.  That is very unusual and I'm going to email my boss to see if I can get credit for the time it took to boot up or if I have to just use the 6:30 time as my start time.  I really don't care either way, but the effort was there for a 5 am start and I'd like to get credit for it.  

Anyway, working modified camp schedule.  After work will pick up Siehara and come home for an earlier dinner.  We both have routine dentist appointments tonight at 5:45 and I really don't want to wait to have dinner until after 7.  

Dentist appointments, then home to relax.  Hopefully I will get to bed early tonight.  I am still exhausted from the weekned.

I too am exhausted. 

I had a great long weekend and am not looking forward to work today - I have a CRAZY 2 days at work in order to get set up for a big project next phase kickoff on the 12th and I am out on Thursday and Friday of this week, so this should be interesting. Am glad to gear up for another 4 day weekend though..

Well - must be brief - need to get on the road... back to work so I can tear what's left of my hair out..

So...I shouldn't mention then that I am am in Philly and do not have anywhere to be for several hours?!?!  

I came in last night, totally surprised Larry - THAT was fun!  I went to Target, the market and came home to my doggie jumping all over me!  so sweet!  I am home as we have a Bris to go to this morning, and I didn't feel like rushing from camp, and I wanted to make some more food to take back to camp wtih me.  so here I am!  I am going to make myself some ground meat to take back to camp, shower and meet a friend for breakfast before we head over to the Bris at the synagogue.  Looking forward to seeing everyone this morning.  Still not sure what I am wearing, but, the great news is that I have PLENTY of choices! :)

I will be heading back to camp later this afternoon.  There is an adult dinner for some of the staff, so my staff will be babysitting their kids.  This happens once every two weeks and is part of the job.  No plans after the kids get packed up.  Probably get started on book no. three of the summer, ahhhhh.....when I am complaining about my job - remind me about July and August wouldja?!?! 

I hope you all have a quiet day back to work, or a pleasant day of doing whatever it is you are doing this BEAUTIFUL and WARM Tuesday! :)

Well, it's going to be HOT again, but I guess you all know that!

Just jumping into work with both feet this morning. I have a quick dr. appt. with my PCP at lunchtime - going to ask him to order my next set of labs and code them for something that insurance will cover!  (They discontinued bariatric coverage a few months ago...without my knowing it, and my last labs cost $1000 out of pocket!)

A few errands with Mike this evening. We put off a few things yesterday because of the heat.

Tomorrow...back to the gym!

I too am tired and wish the weekend was a little longer.  The good news is no rain in the forecast until late Thursday so I can ride the motorcycle to work :)

Good morning, PA!

Hoping to get the AC fixed today and waiting for good news from Bethlehem Twp!  I am trying to open a small retail store here in the township, but I have been waiting for weeks for a mechanical permit to finish the construction.

I have been unemployed for a year and a half now, (so yes be thankful if you have a job to go to), so I am acting on some inspiration I got from my support group meetings.

I am opening an upscale plus size consignment shop.  There are so many people going through sizes and they need a place to get rid of their clothes and find new ones at a bargain price.  And I know as a size 26+ my choices in clothes are very limited here in the Lehigh Valley.  So I am going to bring some of the brands here that we can't get.

Anyway, with surgery coming up on August 9th, I am hoping to be able to move into the store before that date.  I have been buying store fixtures on Craigslist, hubby can't wait to get his garage, basement, living and dining rooms back!!

So August is going to be some month!  Surgery, store opening and my only son leaves for college on the 25th.  I am really starting a new life!

Oh and Aug 9th is a good day - it would have been my Grandmother's 87th birthday (this is our first one with out her) and it's my Aunt and Uncle's wedding anniversary!

Yes, I'm hoping 8-9-10 is a good omen, they are fabulous numbers in Feng Shui!!

Trust me, Nicole - if it wasn't for the fact that I KNOW I would scare the heck out of my co-workers I would have come in without hair and make-up today as well!! Yes, I'm as exhausted as the rest of you guys.

We had a big FAMILY weekend ALL weekend - my husband and I both came home from the last BBQ yesterday and collapsed in the family room - he took the big chair and ottoman, I took the couch. But it was a lot of fun - I held more than my share of babies and little ones - back was really achey yesterday morning after Sunday's party but seems to have recovered okay.

Leaving work early today - going out to Lancaster tonight to see Ringo Starr with my BFF!! I can't believe it's finally here - seems like we've had the tickets forever! And I've never seen a Beatle, and he is my FAV, so I'm really excited. OMG tomorrow is the man's 70th birthday?! WOW. But then again I'm married to a 71 year old so hey, Ringo could be my husband - LOL.

Short work week for me and hubby - only 3 days - Friday we're off - he's getting his eyeballs measured Friday morning for his cataract lenses and then they'll schedule him for the surgery - his appt is early so I'm taking a vacation day and as soon as he gets home we're heading to our friends' place at the beach. This will be a nice, QUIET, relaxing weekend...

Saw the pics on FB of the cooking class - looks like you guys had a ball!!
