**Star Spangled Saturday Roll Call**
Yeah, I have been flying solo as grandma for 2 weeks. Mike couldn't get away from work for this long so he is actually picking me up today and we are heading back. Leaving my car here for the kids to use since they are down to one car right now and struggling with expenses. So I will do most of the driving today. Hopefully there wont be too many crazies on the turnpike.

Today has me packing some protein etc. and heading to the beach with my hubby to see our best man from our wedding and his family.....I LOVE the beach so.....I am in a Happy place....I think I am in a bit of a stall! 3 mos anniversay today and down49 lbs....Had a day or two where the scale stayed the same or even went up a pound or two????? I have been expanding my food and wonder if this may be the case....more nuts and fruit??????
Will continue to sip...got 4 frozen water bottles ready for beach sipping! Have a Great time at the picnic wish I was joining you.....but the waves are calling! P ROCK!

I am awake and giggling at my current situation....I am sitting on my bed at camp with my laptop as Larry is snoring next to me.......My how things have changed as far as camping goes......Oh - and the dog is comfortably laying on the floor in front of the bed. NO CHILDREN!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhh........
I will head over to breakfast - there will be bagels - a normal Saturday morning fare here at camp, will be bringing my oatmeal if I can't get hold of half a wheat bagel. I think I have been eating too much oatmeal though, however, not sure what else to do when the campers are having pancakes or french toast, etc.....Any ideas on how to make egg whites in the microwave?
After breakfast, have a quick meeting with Larry and the inculsion coordinator and some of Molly's counselors to discuss some of the thoughts that came up in a conversation I had with a therapist at the office. Then services. Molly's unit is leading this morning's service....guess I need to be there for this! OY! Then another quick meeting with MY staff before Larry and I head out of camp. I am going to get to Maura's this afternoon. YAY!!!!! Wasn't sure if it was going to work, but it looks as though all the planets have aligned and I can get out!
Heading back to camp tonight for the Israeli Scouts. Always a GREAT activity here at camp with dancing, singing and smiling!

I am not sure what is happening today. My sister-in-law invited me to ride up to Nockamixon so she could buy a new kayak. Both her kayaks were stolen in Virginia Beach a couple of weeks ago.
I am dragging because I upped one of my meds per doctor's orders.

I just found you, thought I would just jump right in.
I am scheduled for RNY surgery on August 9th with Dr. Boorse at Lehigh Valley Hospital. I live in Bethlehem Township with my husband and 18 YO son, who is leaving for college in August :(
Starting to get a little nervous as the surgery gets closer...

So glad you found us and jumped right in!!! Hang around---lots of great people and great advice on this board!!! Lots of the group live in your area, and there's a cooking class/support group in Easton once a month. It's on July 17th this month---keep an eye out for the post with the info, and feel free to join us. Lots of fun, good & good for us food, great people. Good luck with your surgery!!!

I currently live in Whitehall right near the LV Mall. I grew up in Bethlehem and have many friends still in Bethlehem or in Bethlehem Township. I did not have my surgery at LVH, but I have heard many many wonderful things about Dr. Boorse. He performed a couple of pancreas surgeries on my dad, and was wonderful with that.
Stick around the boards and you will learn lots of great stuff. Try to get to Easton on 7/17 as others have stated. We are a great group of people who have a lot to share for your journey.
