**Star Spangled Saturday Roll Call**

Well Anne got all creative with "Firecracker Friday" so I had to come up with SOMETHING for Saturday!

Well I started my holiday weekend out here at work...and thus far...it hasn't been tooooo terribly bad.  I'm out in triage for the night, and my black cloud seems to have not followed me as it normally does.

Hitting the gym on the way home....will do at least my spin class.  If I get there early enough I'll do my one weight routine, and then the class..but that is doubtful.

And then trying to get to bed at a decent hour.  Have to wake up a few mins early today to make the whipped cream I'm bringing to serve with the cakes.

Then it'll be much of the same...back to work tonight....

Exciting times I tell ya!

AGGHHHH - am up way too late  need to go to bed -

tonight I marinated chicken, made hummus, made burgers, grilled veggies, cut up fruit salad and made key lime cheesecake (although it is worrying me because I don't think it is going to gel.. I substituted ff half & half and maltitol in place of sweetened condensed milk and  don't think it will work w/ the gelatin.. :(

up in the am for a haircut, then to support group, then back home for the bbq - am looking forward to it.. :)

well goodnight, need to get to sleep - Mark is snoring on the couch next to me.. and talking in his sleep a little.. am trying to make out what he is saying....

Good luck with the cheesecake....not sure how your substitutes will work out...but heck...lime flavored cheesecake milkshakes are always good, aren't they? lol  eh, live and learn

I'm still awake.. no real reason besides I haven't brought my lazy butt over to my bed to go to sleep.  I'm going as soon as I post here otherwise, I will not be functioning very well when I do get up.

Today has me going to sleep... then when I get up, going to synagogue.  After services, Siehara and I will head to Maura's house.. Thank goodness I got this new car.  I would not be able to go to see anyone with that old piece of junk car.

After Maura's.. nothing really planned.

HIi all I am at work today yay me. Then going to the farmers market. Have dinner plans tonight with someone fabulous. LOL and then hopefully some fireworks,

Saying goodbye to my Michigan crew today and driving home. Mixed emotions of course...it has been such fun to have the chance to be part of the day to day routine especially with the girls. And a once in a lifetime moment to be present when North was born. And a blessing to be able to help Sarah with some of the day to day stuff.

But...you know the feeling. I miss Mike. I will sleep so well in my own bed tonight! Stepping back into my own life will feel good!

I will miss all of you who will be at Barix and the bbq today!

PLEASE be careful driving home...crazy people out on holiday weekends I tell you.

Enjoy sleeping in your own bed.  As much as I love vacations..it IS always nice to get back home!
